I found the chainsaw but the shelf says $399 and the kiosk computer says out of stock. Ugh, I thought I was getting lucky but it didn't work out

I found the elusive Power Washer. Was in the garden area appeared to be new. Was not in the computer had a generic Sku for $200+. I gave the MOD the correct Sku he was a @ick. Corporate could not help.

The $29 one? Was it reconditioned?
They shouldn't be selling reconditioned for more than a new one. If anything, they should give 10% off the NEW price. Be careful how you word things with corporate. You have to use the right language. Just say, "this pressure washer is showing as $29 in their system but they are selling it under a generic SKU for a lot more. They are not honoring the $29 price that it is supposed to be sold as"
Don't mention anything about it being open-box/display model/reconditioned. Just say it exactly like i wrote it.

Best part about the chainsaws was the manager was being a **** and started arguing with corporate on the phone and demanded that corporate email her the policy on penny items. After getting the email, the manager came back and apologized to me.

I should have just walked right past them in the first place since I had the receipt in my hand. The SCO attendant grabbed onto my cart and wouldn't let me go, even after I said you're harassing me and I can call the police.

That's the same store where 3 hardware guys started laughing when I walked away after asking about 11 missing Milwaukee combo kits for $25

Yea i saw those Milwaukee* kits tonight, but I couldn't find anything at two places. I did get pretty excited to see that pop up in clearance. Now I'll be hawkeying the chainsaws lol.

saw the jack/jack stand combo for $15 tonight as well as the DeWalt 4.5" angle grinder for $45. The deal of the day for me was a "6 pack" of 30 gallon storage totes. They were listed as a 6 pack for $8.88 online, but in the store they were $8.88 each. I had to fight it, but they fulfilled the order after 20 minutes of debate. they've since taken the item off the site.

I made my first attempt to find a penny deal today. Located a computer, found the price checker app, clicked filter, chose clearance, and started going through "brand names" that caught my eye.

I found quite a few things with the price ending in 4-2 cents that where mostly listed out of stock. Even found a couple small items normally priced around $15-30 priced at a penny but ALL of those where out of stock. Is this typical for the penny deals?

I came up with a couple questions after my searching today that either I missed or it wasnt clear here. Any more advice / input would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to PM me if need be.

1- If the penny deals are in stock at the store will they always be listed for a penny and listed as "in stock" on the price checker?
Will all of the "penny deals" be listed under "clearance"? I tried searching with out clearance checked (just had everything sorted by price) and there where a TON of items listed for a penny. Most where display items DNI I assume and I was running out of time to clarify it myself.

The accuracy of "on hand" or in stock is more of a guide. I've found it to be pretty in accurate. Your best chances are when the kiosk says they have it and you actually find it. They don't always have to be listed in stock. As they often may not be.

BTW this is a little of what I found. The jack was no where to be found near the Jacks on the floor, I found 3 of the Metal Urn for the wife. They where in the over head without clearance labels on them? Didn't bother looking for the knifes or garage door opener. I've had that same garage door opener at my house for a year now and I love it BTW! Paid around $200 for it though...

Forgot to post this the other day. From Danvers, MA I think? I didn't buy it. It looked like a return. It was taped shut and the wires looked like a mess through the hand hole.

Yes it was the Honda Homelite model. Talked with corporate twice they were no help.

Today's haul, all were pennies. Had hit two stores this morning that had 7 to 10 of the large temp2 sets weeks ago....they were all gone hit 3 more stores and got these. I've seen the 1/2 hourse power garage door openers that SPN posted two at clearance but they said 70 bucks each must be the old price tag.

Found one of the Delta Satori faucets went through self checkout paid for along with other items got receipt as I went to take security off self checkout lady said we can't sell it for a penny talk to manager advised can't feel anything for a penny bought it for $50 will call corporate and see what they can do

Still can't find the Belkin power strips nothing else good yesterday will hit them up tomorrow.. On a side note wife bought me dewalt tough system for Christmas three boxes and the two wheeler for 199, her training is not yet complete

I bought like 20 tree's yesterday from Home Depot.

All the Christmas Trees are 50% off, so I snatched up blue spruces and special Pine tree's they had. Really pretty stuff!

I needed some of these anyways, so its perfect timing!
