Picked up the last table saw in 49801 last night for $75.02. Thanks GJ

Not shown in online inventory, but spotted it in the cage at the top and asked for a price check. They did not seem happy, but they always seem upset in my Home Depot

Found a cheaper solution

Buy few parts for
DW718
Guard - 618230-00 - $17.10
Jumper - 618213-00 - $3.62
DWS782
1X - Handle set - 624730-00 - $14.39

and make spacers for the light and some wiring inside the handle and we have a working light for about $70 including the light. I'll probably do that as soon as I can make it over to the Dewalt Service center. The Plate - N020822 (guard mounts to it) is the same part number for DW718 and DWS780 and 782.

Some bad news, the DWS7085 light is not going to work with the new saws. Hole pattern is different and the light is aimed at a wrong angle to cast a complete shadow of the blade. Have to buy the correct parts from servicenet.dewalt.com to have the light.

Yes you can add the light but you have to buy these parts

1X - Handle set - 624730-00
1X - Power supply - N078832
1X - Work Light - N030317
1X - Motor Cord - N114499 (you need the connector for the power supply)

and you need to do some wiring in the handle

Thanks for the info Slupie.

I looked up the parts you called out for the cheaper solution because I was also hoping to use the DWS7085.

One difference I found between the 718 and 780/782 is the Arm Assembly;
DW718 - 618175-00SV
DWS780/782 - N030331SV

Since they're not the same, that could explain the difference you found in the hole pattern. Also, the mounting holes for the light are higher on the 780/782. That could be why it didn't cast a complete shadow when you tried it on your saw. Just a guess.

I've attached a pic for reference. I added lines to show the difference in edge distance between the bottom of the arm and lower mounting hole, but it's easier to just look at the warning label in relation to the mounting hole.

It seems like the DWS7085 will not work without modification to the arm. Easiest route would be purchasing the correct light.

I'm sure plenty of GJ peeps are reselling their finds

This isn't the only website talking about these deals. Slickdeals had a HD thread about HD 1 cent deals going for awhile. They had posters that cried about stuff and come to find out they never searched stores.

Been to about 10 HD looking for the miter saw with no luck. Did find the Ridgid and Ryobi 2-pack of batteries. At one HD, I was surprised to see that all the Husky garage cabinets and secure track were gone and replaced with Gladiator stuff. Anyone else notice that and were the Husky stuff clearanced out. Like I said, this was only at 1 of the 10 HD I have been in the last week

One store I went to had 2 of the small husky wall mount cabinets piled in the clearance section. I should have checked the price because they were gone a couple days later. The original clearance drop was like a $5 discount so I didn't bother. Besides I just found Ryobi batteries so who has time for that.

Today's finds, nothing as exciting as a table or miter saw and not worth a special trip.

5-1/2 in. Finishing and Plastering Masonry Pointing Trowel with Wood Handle
Model # 92220Q
Paid $1.23 Reg. $4.97

5 in. x 2 in. No-Notch Margin Trowel with Wood Handle Model # 42103Q
Paid $1.33 Reg. $4.97

10 in. Professional Profile and Contour Gauge Model # 10032Q
Paid $2.53 Reg. $9.97

All above found in the tile section.

Husky 11-Piece Screwdriver Set Model # 246340110
Paid $2.52 Reg. $9.88

They also had a set of Husky rolling tool bags a large and a small one together, marked down from over $150.00 to $59.97 Sorry I didn't get a number or picture on this one, they were up by the self checkout. I'm assuming it must of been a black Friday deal because it was a set.

Thanks for the heads up. I may have to ****** a toolbag if I can find it and hope for a price drop lol.

Anyone have the SKU for the hole saw kit? I checked a bunch of Atlanta area stores over the last week that were supposed to have the Dewalt combo and/or drill, but struck out. One store was supposed to have 7 and another 10. :(

Just checked on the 12" Rigid Sliding Miter Saw.(SKU 295-598) as mentioned in a previous post. It's on sale for $399 from $499. Hopefully it goes the way of the Dewalt 782! I'll keep checking. Anyway, this thing is HUGE! Quite a bit larger than the 782.

Just a heads up.

I think I found some of the Ryobi stands, but when I asked the guy to check the price he told me they were $59. I am mad at myself for not making him find a ladder so that he could scan it. So far it seems that every store has them for $15, correct?

I really want one of those table saws! :(

None of my local stores have these deals. The clearance section is the same junk from a month ago.

Either you looked too late or your local HD keeps a tight rein on inventory. I've seen one HD with over two large crates of Ryobi 2-packs + Dewalt heat guns + Dewalt drills + Makita batteries hiding in the corner where no one would look. They vanished during a store reset meaning things were moved around. The batteries might have been shipped back or shipped to another store and the Dewalt heat guns landed in the paint department. That particular HD had the DW miter saws marked down from $239>100 and now all gone. Some of that BF "junk" became the super deals we continue to seek out.

For those interested in the $20 off Ryobi Bare Tools, I got curious and pulled together a list of the SKU's that it applies to.

$399 is the regular price from what I've seen near me.

Managed to find the Milwaukee M12 Rotary Tool Kit last night in a New Orleans area store, buried in the back of the Milwaukee M12 endcap. Still marked $50.04 but rang up as $25.02, so you can imagine I was pretty pleased with that outcome.

Found a Ryobi sliding compound miter saw for 50.03 down from 199, sku 754455. This model has a laser.

Also saw Ryobi Drill/Reciprocating Saw combo for 79 that includes 2 LI batteries (probably 1.5Ah) sku 018274

I noticed that the Dewalt rep had pulled the table saws from 2 stores without updating the system inventory. Jerk. Spent 2 hours looking for phantom saws in the rafters.

Also saw a Char Broil NG conversion kit for 1c, sku 761078 . This is for dual fuel grills only. Used to be $56

How do you know the Dewalt rep pulled them from inventory? Lot's of things mess up inventory in stores and I don't think reps can take stuff from the shelves (I do work in retail, but I am no expert on this).

The inventory showed 3 in the first store and 2 in the second. I had clerks in both stores looking also. Another clerk showed up and said that he had looked all over the store for the saws previously and could not find them. They did say that the Dewalt rep could have taken them but should have updated the inventory. Also, I have had this same problem in the past where stores show inventory for Dewalt items at the last clearance level and the items could not be found. The saws were at the last clearance level, 75.03. The next clearance level is .01

Went to 4 HD's in the South Jersey area and only found the $20 fan (which I picked up for myself). There is one other HD that is somewhat local. I plan to swing by tonight...but I'm not feeling very hopeful.

One a side note: the fan is pretty cool (pun intended).

Would you happen to have a receipt for the Makita 3.0Ah battery packs? The lowest I could find them for was 119.

Yeah I saw that, wasn't able to get them to PM it though... they said they needed to see the full receipt or something. I guess I'll try again haha.

There are quite a few 6-Amp Saw-Max Tool Kits (sku#1000014836) still out there, but the in-store price for all of the Home Depot's that I have been to still price out at $99 not $33. Guess I'll continue to check every couple of days.

Ive been a stalker for a while.

It started off innocent enough....bought our first house, had plenty of work to do and no tools to do it.

Then it escalated into a cordless tool set that was on clearance but no store had any. After 30 minutes of walking around in the overhead storage, the most helpful employee ever found the kit for me. That was the beginning of my stalking habits. What other shiny things can be found in the sky of Home Depot? :)

That's the SM20-03. The one I got for $33 is the SM20-02 (in a hard plastic case).

That one is in stock on the website.....and since there is an in-store SKU, I wonder if you could order on the web then return/rebuy in store.

Shipped online orders that are returned in store get shipped back to the motherland. They do not go out on the sales floor. The clerk even puts the coding label for the return system on it when you are standing there. I imagine that might be different for items that were from online orders with store stock pickup (same day).
