Definitely been a fantastic season for battery deals for Milwaukee, Makita, Ryobi, Ridgid owners. The LED worklights are bright and have great run times. "forced to buy Makita"? well Makita power tools are one of the better brands to own if your going to invest in power tools. Otherwise unloading your deal here at GJ won't be a problem.

I meant that as a joke. I mean this purchase basically chose for me what brand power tools to buy. I was on the fence between dewalt,milwaukee,and makita for a long time now. I just haven't really pulled the trigger on any one of them. Now since I have a makita led/battery combo, then I'll definitely go with makita now. I'll need to look for some deals on the brushless drill and impact combo kits.

I dont have one of my own but I pulled this UPC off the web:

There are websites that will let you input a UPC and print out the barcode version of it (if your goal is a price match, or return). Just watch the size of the print out.

Ive tested printed UPCs with a barcode scanning app for my smartphone.

We got it, man - no need to yell. You're definitely worth the $175 dollar markup because you drove to HD, picked it up and drove it home. Probably took less than a half hour. Guy makes more than most professionals I know..

lol - knowing what it cost someone, I could never buy that based on principle alone. Just my opinion, though.

If you're there anyway, take a look at the 6" Ryobi bench grinders. I got one of the holiday models #BG62GSB (without the led light) on clearance about a month ago, but I found the one with the lights #BG62 for $12 yesterday. Used a $5 off Northern coupon to sweeten the deal. I think it is only certain stores because I've been to a ton of them recently, and this is the first one I've seen so low.

just fyi for houston guys, i went searching for the dewalt saws with no luck, i had my father in law stop by the lumpkin store at i-10 and the beltway west, they had 1 dws782 miter saw, it was out of the package and manager refused to sell it for the clearance price because he didnt have the sku number and stated " i refuse to sell a $600 dollar saw for $100 dollars" so if you can have better luck you may try. Also the little york and 59 store had 1 of the dremel multi max oscillating kits left on shelf for $20. john

Everybody on here that lives near that store should stop by and inquire about that saw. It would be funny for 100 or so people to tell the manager that it is $100 everywhere else.

i went to 2 home depots and checked on the dewalt mitre saw. one place thought i was crazy, so did the next one till i got the tool area manager. he said, oh yea, i had one high up on the pallet rack and a guy came in looking for it and i got it down and it was 100 bucks. that was 2 days prior to me going there.

the deals are there if you are persistant. for sure it was a gj guy who got it.
