As a married guy probably a better shot at a penny miter saw

Sounds like you learned from the Master:

"I want to say one thing to the American people. I want you to listen to me. I'm going to say this again: I did not have ****** relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky," Clinton famously declared"

The funny thing from that quote....I never heard anyone question why he said "that woman" then hurriedly added "Miss Lewinsky"

I wonder if there were others and she was the only one he got caught with :)

Man you guys are still going back and forth.....How about some deals? God know i probably won't find any at the san dimas location. Was talking to the guy who works the tool rental and mentioned that the employees are always on the look out for the deals and usually snag them up asap which means leaving me not a chance in hell of discovering any kinda ***** oh well.

giftcardzen is the best. I always have gotten my electronic cards within a couple minutes. The security is a valid concern, of course. When I get them, I verify the balance online (put more money in your cart than the card is worth, and put the numbers in). I also always used them for a planned purchase within a few days. They do have a one year guarantee FWIW https://giftcardzen.desk.com/custom...you-have-a-guarantee-on-your-cards-?b_id=4446

No I don't work for them, but I have used them a bunch of times. I would use them more if HD didn't have such a dumb return policy.

What Rocket said.......I have used them 3 or 4 times at Home Depot and they have been great at getting another 9% off and price matching Lowes.

Home Depot has a balance checker on their site. You just punch in the card # and pin.

One place where the gift cards don't seem as problematic is online purchases. In the case of the $25 LED shop lights they just refunded my gift card. Even though I bought it in January I was able to log into my purchase history on giftcardzen and print the card again. I verified the balance/refund on afore-mentioned balance checker & there's no way this type of refund "goes against" my ID as I never provided the website a photo ID (obviously).

Sorry to continue off-topic, I am tired of the petty bitching which so defines GJ. Unfortunately this thread is best from Thansgiving thru the post holiday hangover when they're blowing out BF deals & unsold holiday stock. I wish those types of deals were around all year.

Mine has a bunch of dog kennels for around 60% off. These are larger outdoor kennels and are in the back corner with all the concrete and fence supplies.

My local store price matched the 3 Honda mowers for $117 I had bought previously for $448. They had 2 more hiding in the rafters, picked both of them up as well. $729 Honda mowers for $117!

jealous... the only home depot I found that had them wouldn't price match or budge on the $729 price. When I tried to get them to price match, the manager acted like I was trying to rob them :/

thanks. The reviews are mixed so I may buy this if I can find it and look to upgrade when something better comes along. (could not find any of the dewalt table saws earlier this year)

Small gift card deal...Meijers has a sale on $100 gift cards for several HW stores (HD, Lowes, Sears, etc..)for 90 bucks. Nothing earth shattering...but I'm going to pick up 2 since I have several projects planned for the spring...

Don't think it's advertised, it's part of their mperk program. Limit 1 card per store per account... We have 2 accounts.

Cardpool is BUNK! I had three orders cancelled. The last order is still charged on my credit card but the first two have been refunded.

I just used giftcadzen and had the cards I needed in 5 minutes and they worked successfully on the HD website. I also chatted with customer service and they gave me 10% off (Lowes match) no questions asked.

Thats a $500 purchase for $413 out the door.

Looks like sku #933-381. Which location, Kilo?

Wow . . . that Ryobi 10" jobsite table saw (Model RTS31) looks pretty nice for $75 if they are going on clearance. Kilo . . . WHERE did you see that?? Was box damaged or any reason for markdown??

HD prices around here are showing $249 for that jobsite Ryobi table saw.

Not exactlly a clearance but the Ryobi Airstrike brad nailer is now $99. I think its a price drop as the tag was not yellow.

Also, lots of Martha stewart Closet organizer sets/accessories at 75% off

My Home Depot shows the $75.03 price, and one in stock... Me and two guys looked for a half an hour.... Not there. :(

But the $75.03 price is legit.

Can't always go off of sticker color. When I worked at HD, some of the associates were too lazy to switch the paper feed and always used white.

Saw it in Grafton, WI. New unopened box with no signs of damage. My guess is clearance as it was the last one they had.

@cagullet1.... congrats...all the way from the list to success... I guess persistence pays off....Nice score for sure...could be deal of the year... But you might want to take receipt down or erase the cashiers name and long transaction numbers.... or take receipt down....
and I haven't even seen that SKU #### on any honda mowers.

I only wish I could do that out here....closes I got was 1 honda mower at $298...and that was pure luck clearance store has one hidden away....otherwise 100% rejection on Price matching clearance price...I gave up after 3 stores... Let alone try to find a $117 honda mower... Your deal makes the penny deal look like childs play....

My friend is still on hunt for one...not actively going out way...just went he needs something from HD...

I **** at editing photos so I zoomed in to "edit" out the more important info. They refunded me my money, and I rebought them. So many employees/managers don't claim they can't or won't price match clearance items, yet it's so simple to return and change your mind. I got a lot of kickback at a couple stores, to the point that a manager called me a thief and said if everyone did what I did, HD would be out of business. Once you return, it's their merchandise to sell, so why would they ever not let you rebuy it? Deals like this help offset the crazy amount of cash I blew during HD's milwaukee sale.

SKU is 247765.[/QUOTE]

So exactly what was the origin of this deal cause my local has 5 in stock today.

Local store had them marked down to 448, used a 10% off Lowes coupon and got it for 427 out the door. Not nearly as good as your deal but it'll do.

Where is the home depot clearance shelf usually located? I dont think i've ever seen clearance items in all my years of walking HD's in any city I've lived in...

But most HD's have nearly the same internal layouts...

There's multiple clearance shelves around the store, but they're organized, more or less, by department. Look on a back end cap near the tool department for that one.

There's usually some vertical signs that say "CLEARANCE" on them.

Other stuff, like those lawn mowers, may be situated elsewhere as they're a seasonal thing, I dunno. I haven't found any clearance mowers. :)

How is the Honda lawn mower deal to be had? Is this for the Honda HRX217HYA model? I need a new mower fast! I checked stores in my area and the closest has none in stock (must be a ship top store or ship to home purchase) and the next closest store has 3 in stock. Let me know what you can. Thank you!

From just up above:

If they show up online as "in stock", they carry them through the season, so they will be $729 and won't be dropping. Many stores got them for some sort of promo and don't carry them regularly, so they are clearancing them out, much like the DeWalt saws and Milwaukee tools they clearanced out after Christmas. Using their website to check inventory levels for items like this won't work. The only way is either call or go use their computers and look for them.

You'll need to go to your store and check to see if they're on clearance.

I was in HD last night. That looked like a regular stock item. The only thing notable is they had too many for the space in the shelf so some were just sitting boxed in the aisle. Probably waiting for the store to close to forklift them up but they were out stocking at the time I was there.

Who knows. The only reason I noticed it is you don't see too many Honda brand mowers.

I also joined the $0.01 club today. Found an Amflo 50ft x 1/4" air hose sitting on a bucket that was filled with damaged product (busted packs of nails).

Thought to myself that this may have been placed here for destruction with the nails, so I took it to the self checkout with a penny and hand and sure enough it rang up for $.01.

I was sweating bullets, I couldn't find the coin acceptor slot then once I did the transaction wouldn't go through. I had forgot to press "PAY NOW", in the end it all worked out.

The cashier was more worried about the couple across from me taking their $1000+ sale through self checkout.

Hardly a deal, much less a hot one, but a local store has yellow stickers on a lot of their Johnson tools. Looks like around 5% off for most of it. Also, the second longest Empire level is down to $60 from $70.
