Sure enough, they had one in perfect condition for only $58 at my local HD. I thought I might have to hit a few stores, but I was able to find one at the first one I looked at. Thanks to cabfiveforty and cagullett1 for the information.

I checked my store, it was on sale for $199.00

The 13" 40V Ryobi string trimmer is $99 today only. Grabbed one for about $72 after 8% at giftcardzen and my store took a HF 20%. I hate to step into another cordless platform but really could use a cordless weedeater for quick stuff around my place.

good luck....I also was tempted by it...but I recently returned the 18v ryobi hybrid cordless trimmer back...it sucked...no power... I have been using the $33 ryobi gas one on clearance...its good for now...but nowhere near echo gas trimmer stuff.

But i have been salivating for the Echo 56v trimmer, chainsaw ones...They look like power match to gas trimmer without carb hassle...

Are the 18V and 40V units the same save for the battery?

HD has 2 versions of the 40V trimmers. The other one is the one I see compared to the gas trimmers, not this one. I will run by HD in a few minutes to look for this one, since $99 is the same price as the battery and I need more batteries for my yard size. They had stock last week, now every store near me is out according to the website.

yup...you're right... but if they are out of stock....maybe you can ask the manager if they can sell you the one in cosumer report for the $99 price..
sometimes when they run out,,,they will subsitute a higher model for the same low price.... Lowes one time gave me the upgraded toilet set when sale price one was out of stock....Just ask manager and he said YES.

seems like they made the website show low stock so you couldn't order online and pick up tomorrow. There were plenty in stores from what I could tell.

I also grabbed the $2.52 organizer. lots of those in my store still.

Glad a bunch of you guys were able to jump on the organizer bags.

I've already used up a good chunk of the 6 sets I originally picked up. I need to stop at a couple other stores in the area and see if they have any left (closest one is out) and hopefully pick up a few more.

A few penny deals i was able to pick up this past weekend...check the rafters, lots of penny items hidden up there

GE Dual Stage Lead Filtration System - $0.01 (was $101)

All the stores around me show zero in inventory. Except the closest one which has 13! I was able to find two but the UPC was marked out. Cashier said they were free with credit card application. :(

My store has 30% off reconditioned stuff right now. I got a return/recon Simpson pressure washer for $148. They had 2 other more expensive reconditioned ones there. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1429480031.200697.jpg

Store was Appleton WI west side.

I'm sure it's been explained before, but I can't find it - how do you know what clearance items fall into the penny deal? What is the process?

18v Ryobi miter saw on clearance for $25 eveywhere seems to be cleaned out. Not sure how I missed that one.

Keeping an eye on this one....should be useful for getting quick mitered cuts on-the-go with the 4 Ah Ryobi batteries deal. Very light and ez to carry on the jobsite

My home depot had some of the Makita 36v saws on the clearance shelf but they never reduced the price to anything worth wild. I will have to go and check now

Prices are pretty volatile these days so check them out if you are invested in Makita. Not sure whats going on with Makita+HD but watch for falling prices since it ends with .03. The saw is innovative and the first saw powered with 2 batteries. Lot of good reviews out there.

I was personally not seeing a reason to separate this thread out, but now I'm thinking it may be a good idea.

I had to scroll through over 8 pages of this thread to find the original post relating to the Honda mower when I saw one that had been returned on a cart. It wasn't the right one (similar, but new SKU), but reading through page after page looking for the SKU was a pain in the ****, and the search function missed the original post.

Honestly, it's easier to find a thread on a topic now than it is a single post out of 91 pages. Too much banter on here, questions that should be PMs, etc. I'm guilty of it too (this post for example), but I think we really need to save these for after Christmas sales and start a new thread for each item. It'll make life a lot easier when verifying a hot deal in the store, as well as letting everyone here know.

I've been price-checking virtually everyday (using self-check terminals) at my local store but its still at the NLP of $199. Has anyone seen this fall from $199 to the $58 clearance price?

What saw is this? Some of the old blue ones still out there (P550), or the newer green one (P551)?

From experience, **.03 does not drop to **.02 level. **.03 is one of the last levels before reaching penny status. **.04 will drop to **.02 levels though.

I don;t blame you...I asked that first time when I first got into HD clearance.
I think somebody or brave soul with lots of time and good will would have to gather all the SKU #, price, clearance price, maybe links and put them all on the 1 page...maybe 1 page or another page...and keep adding or editing as new clearance items show up or any price changes... But it would require an individual effort post...

I believe slickdeals website has something similar but not all of its there...

maybe start a new one each month...add sku's to last or first page for the month...

Not a super duper deal but for $99 it comes with a lithium charger, battery, blower and trimmer. This HD deal is only targeted for owners of Ryobi 18V batteries and users expecting light-duty performance from string trimmer/hard surface blower. I have used both Ryobi power tools on rental properties for nearly 5 years for light trimming and blowing away clippings. NOT good for neglected lawns and NOT the strongest lawn equipment but makes use of my 18V batteries while blowing the neighbor's effing leaves back on their property:)

That Ryobi cordless miter saw is awesome. For the price its so worth it, and it lasts a pretty long time with 4.0ah batteries. It's a great tool for punch list items. Who wants to carry a heavy miter saw all the time? I will say my body appreciates the smaller lighter tools

These are not bad for a person that has a really small yard. The string trimmer is pretty decent, but I did have an issue with the blower squirrel cage exploding on me one day. That was a bummer as it was a tool I used to clean up the yard and garage all the time.

Can anybody post, PM or e-mail [email protected] a picture/scan of a receipt showing the $117 price on the Honda Lawnmower SKU #247765. I will be next to a store that has 3 of them and I want to see if they will price match. TIA

Dual pack of 4.0ah Ryobi batteries are back in stock, which would explain why they went off clearance. They must be getting ready to do another Ryobi promo, possibly with the release of the new tools?

One store I visited had 6 cases stacked on the floor. $84 per pack

Looks like it got the ax due to poor online reviews (3 out of 5 stars). I checked and it is selling for a penny here, but my 10 closest stores are all sold out.

Just curious -- how did you check inventory on this? The HD site just shows discontinued for me and doesn't allow me to check?

I can't see a store who regularly stocks them at $729 matching a clearance price of $117. I'm at work so I don't have a copy of my receipt.

The only way I can see you getting one for $117 is buying it at full price, returning it another local store that has a $117 price, and rebuying it. Most stores in my area (the DFW metroplex) are all at $117. There are just a handful of them at $729, and a couple at $448.

Thanks, I tried but they wouldn't match the price and no other store in the area has it in inventory or clearance price. They can just order it for $729. Bummer as I could use a new mower. I was told by the department manager that few other people tried to get the $117 price match.

Fathers Day selling season upcoming.
They are already pushing the 4 pack of the smaller size batteries for $99.??.

I hope they give out a good Ryobi deal for Cyber Week.
Still a couple days left.

Got the Husky organizer set for $2.?? today.

May have already been posted in this mega-thread, but I just scored 14 Hitachi impact rated mag collar tip #2 driver bits for $14 ($2 per card, bought all 7 cards available.)
