Is that the DWMT73679? I can't figure that thing out. The store I was just in had them stacked on pallets way up in the rafters, none on display, but showed up in the price check app as 7 in stock at $299. :dunno:

Not even sure how I can check the price on them. I don't want to resell them, just want one for my basement shop!

I did manage to find one of the Bostitch F28WW framing nailers for $58 minus 15% since the no-mar tip and manual were missing. I can get the tip for $8. It'll make a nice gift for my b-in-law.

What I have learned is if it is " an Active SKU" meaning they will order more when needed and they will not honor the clearance price.

All the clearance items are "Inactive SKU" meaning once they are gone they are gone.

There are several DeWalt items including the tool box I would like to buy..... But if there is any stock left it is at full retail in my area.

The Dewalt Tough System storage units have finally hit a good price if you can still find them.

Noob question here. My store didn't have any DeWalt DS 400 boxes in stock, but I saw it priced at $18.03 in the Price Check app. I went to the next store about 15 miles away. It was listed as $69.97 in their price check app. They had two in stock. They rang up as $69.97. The manager agreed to "price match" the $18.03, but he was reluctant to do so. If I didn't take a photo of the screen at my store showing $18.03 he never would have matched it. Are they supposed to match prices in other stores' Price Check apps? I mentioned how they should really price match themselves, but his reply was that they are not in competition with themselves.

Independent stores, no affiliation with HD other than getting their clearance, overstock, returns, damaged, and discontinued stuff.

We have one of these stores locally. There have a retail store, but they also have a huge warehouse with hundreds of pallets from Home Depot. They must sell stuff to other retailers as there is no way the retail store turns over that much merchandise. I am shocked that they get merchandise from all over the USA. I don't understand why Home Depot ships stuff from New York and out west to Minnesota. The store always has swamp coolers which don't work in Minnesota or the Midwest.

The store here typically sells stuff at 50% of Home Depot retail. They occasionally have sales where they sell for 50% off their price which means 25% of the Home Depot retail. I went to one of the sales and it was a total zoo. I have gotten some good deals on brand new merchandise. Other merchandise is so damaged that they couldn't pay me to take it.

So, they're just independent stores? Are they nation wide or just in certain states?

HD had a clearance store at one point on the location of a store that was relocated (Austell & EW Connector in Marietta Ga), but it closed 7 or 8 years ago.

These clearance places mentioned are independent dealers, not affiliated with HD. They are not in every state, but appear to be regional.

So I found a store with 4 of the Dewalt 8v gyroscopic screwdrivers. Price check says inactive and full price. SCO price check says full price. These were up in the rafters with "no home" written on them. Didn't these things go on penny status like 6 months ago???

1001309600. Or is the MAX version new??

Burnsville as someone else mentioned. See mnhomeoutlet.com. They also have a Facebook page where they announce their sales. It looks like the last 50% off sale was in May. I would expect another 50% off sale in August or September.

They just built a new store in the same building. Much of their merchandise is advertised through Craigslist. Search Craigslist for MN Home Outlet Burnsville. They are selling some stuff through their website now. Pictures are all stock photos, not the actual items. I see they have some new Dewalt grinders, but they aren't much of a deal compared to their usual discounts.

There were only 2 on the shelf, got 'em both. Still shows one in stock, maybe I should go back, but in a 2 car garage I'll have just over 22,000 lumens. One thing, they are not plug in, but must be wired. But I need to rewire the garage some anyway.

292396. Even at $2.52, they're not selling at the stores around here. Tons of them left. I bought 5.

Just picked up a couple. They have them in 2 spots. They changed the price stickers in one spot, but not the other. The display the said $2.52 was barren, by the one that said $5.** was overflowing. Thank you lazy HD employees. 😁

If that were true, it will still ring up 2.52 even if the tag hasn't been changed.

some stores went $80.03 and then a penny. I bought one yesterday - rang up a penny but they sold it to me at last clearance price. Already sold. This was in MD.
