Going back to one store near my work in an hour to see if they still have the flooring cleats. Kicking myself now that I didn't pick them up last time, since I'm keeping one of my Bostitch flooring nailers.

$10.50 for $1000 worth of nails. Pink stroller not included.

I got cancelled again but ordered some new ones from another store that says they have a bunch in stock. I'm working a double today but I'm off tomorrow reference a eye doctor appointment, gonna hit a few stores after I get out. Heck their 50 cents, that's nuts

I too bought "another" $1000 of nails yesterday for $10.50 and have no need for them .... Well, right now that is. Later I called another store 120 miles away, which I knew I'd be by in a week or two but they told me they didn't have anything. However, I looked on line & it said they did, so I ordered up to see what may happen. Magically they found them all on a pallet to be shipped to another store!?! Since it was an online order, I was "told" the store mgr got involved looking for them which lead to the find. So look on line too, place the order & see what happens!

One odd note, I was told they were shipping them to another store so they didn't take the hit for the markdown. I wouldn't doubt it, they are so ******** tight here & don't like to give discounts!!!

3 Paslode 16ga finish nails which I don't know anyone who can use them, going on eBay I guess.

2 Porter Cable brad nails, which I'll keep.

1 Grip-Rite fiber cement nails? - eBay.

Tons of clipped-head framing nails. I don't know anyone with a clipped-head nailer, so I'll just make a big lot on Craigslist.

Says $19.47 for me

I wonder if these are getting priced regionally online? I know the stores here still have those full price.

I don't remember what brand I saw on clearance... But it wasn't Bostitch.

I bought 10 boxes of those Porta nails a few days ago at $1 a box to go with the Freeman floor nailer I scored a few months ago for $40.

Looking at the regional stores near me (with in 6 hours drive) all $0.50 nails are listed as out of stock. However, a quick call to one of the stores landed me 7 boxes of Paslode nail & fuel packs for $3.71. They didn't want to mail them or do a store to store transfer but I have to go that way in a couple weeks anyway, since they are paid for they will hold them til I get there in a few weeks. Give um a call too, never know....

Anyone know if there is a cheap way to transfer or mail the nails to me from the store or what I need to do to get it to me with out the drive?

Is that still showing as $2 for you online? What store are you setting as your home store?

Edit.. I guess it is priced by store online. Everywhere was showing $19.47, but when I select Manhattan, NY it shows $2. I wonder if other clearance items besides nails are like this? I thought all prices online were site-wide, regardless of where you set "your store" to.

This used to be a "deal tactic", someone would report a low price (found on the website) and their store number and everyone would order using those details.

Maybe it is coming back.

It does appear that clearance pricing is showing again in the app at least.

but are you able to find anything other than these recent nails deals? I can't find anything else.

I think these nails were an exception to the rule. Tried looking for a bunch of stuff and cycling through different stores that have it at the .03 level, and it only shows full price.. such as the Dewalt Tough System boxes, Fein 350M Multimaster, Milwaukee 2630-20 cordless circular saw, Milwaukee 13" jobsite box, a bunch of nailers, etc

Edit: Try this: do a search for "Bostitch Nailer" and check all the prices. Change your store and check again. Try it at a few stores.

Yea they found me 5 boxes have to swing by and pick them up heading to a store that says they have 20. I was just there and got 6 boxes or porta cable 1 1/2 x 1/4 inch 18 gauge staples for 50 cents each 5000 per box and a case of hitachi nails 3 x 131 2000 count for 50 cents. I at a doctors appointment right now when I finish I'll head back and check. They have a whole clearance section with nails. Gonna scan a bunch then buy them all.

Are you ordering from your local store or what?

No I couldn't get it to work on my local stores. Here's what I did:

Get on the Pro site (not sure if this is necessary, but I was on Pro).

Do a search for "Bostitch Nails" or "Grip Rite Nails".
Look for the ones that are $2 or $5. While still on the search results, check if they say "free shipping with $45 order". If you can find one, add 1 to your cart.

Now go to your cart and make sure it is showing up as 50 cents. If not, remove it. And try a different one. If none work, change your store.

As far as the free shipping, I noticed the Bostitch nails figured the price AFTER discount, meaning you have to add $45 worth of 50 cent nails, or 90 boxes.
For the Grip Rite nails, it figured the price BEFORE discount, meaning you only need 1 or 2 boxes.

I just ordered 38 boxes of nails at $.50 each. Placed two orders, one for 20 boxes in store and one for 18 shipped to me.

It won't let me get any more, either they show up as not sold online or full price.

Is an account needed for the pro site? I tried on the regular site and it would let me add to cart but if I changed quantity for ship to home it would base it off the store and would only let me add a total of 3.

Take the 3 and look for more in that store. I ran into the same problem. There was only 1 that I found that seemed to have an infinite quantity

Yup. Craigslist, one big contractor lot.

If they actually process these orders, I feel sorry for the poor chap who has to move them all and put shipping labels

Just now getting into the home depot thing so please excuse my ignorance. If the website says the full price is there any point in going to the store?
