These boxes are heavy. Sweating my balls off now

Can't say I didn't get my exercise today...

Trying to take a poop now and I keep sliding off the seat from the sweat

On the bright side, an HD near me has a toilet at .03 status, so you can grab that, too.

So which one is really better, the small Dewalt box or the Ridgid box?

The small DeWalt box......The Ridgid is good do not get met wrong but the Ridgid only has 6 hardware trays vs. the DeWLt which has ....

Endless storage......

Price?

If you want to do some work..... $13.03 vs. $29.99

Just My opinion to each his own.......

And for those that do not like the "Price Match " posts please do not read this......you have the right in the USA to pay FULL retail.....

I like the DeWalt better because it actually makes use of the space in the top. The Ridgid version has a panel covering the space that doesnt hinge down. You can remove it to make room for slightly taller stuff in the box itself, but you cant really store stuff in the space (the panel is not easy to remove and reinstall)

Unfortunately I had bought 1 of each of the Ridgid box before the DeWalts went on clearance, so I couldnt return them easily. So I have a full set of the Ridgid ones, a few XL DeWalts and 4 small DeWalts.

I was very interested in the Ridgid.....they are built maybe better then the DeWalt.

They were a great buy at $99 for the set a couple weeks ago!

You guys are awesome and I love seeing your deals. You've taught me how to look for things at Depot but I haven't caught anything good yet. Nailers are all gone, dewalt boxes are all full price, nothing good at all in my stores that I've found. I don't know why anyone would berate any of you for doing what you're doing. How you spend your time is totally up to you.
Carry on. I'll keep looking here and I'll keep enjoying seeing all the pics.

Nice! How did you get the manager to knock off so much? I was able to get $50 off the $299 Ridgid Miter saw since it was a floor model, but at a different store they would NOT budge on the price of a floor model Milwaukee Fuel Impact even though it was missing a battery, charger, and case.

It was a perfect storm of luck... It was closing time, manager really needed the space, it was locked an someone had stolen the keys.. it was REALLY dusty. I just asked if the could do any better on the price since it was locked shut and dingy, she said how does $50 sound? I said sold... I assumed they were going to adjust the price down to 50 dollars, but the cashier rang it up as a 50 dollar discount..

Thank you! No luck with the price match on the Dewalt box but a return rebuy yielded those m18 saws at penny status. Manager refunded all 5 and resold for a nickel!

Wow! Now that's a manager who cares about customer satisfaction! Unless you really had to battle them for it...

Huh?

They didn't price match the Dewalt boxes to 18.03 but they let you basically price match the saws to .01?

So at your store you could hold on to new clearance tools you buy, when they hit .01 take them all back and rebuy them all for a penny?

Basically, yes. But he said when they hit a penny they are supposed to switched to inactive. They weren't so he said it is corporate policy to sell them.

I wish we could have a thread where members can only post the item number and price so we don't have to read through all the jibber jabber to find a deal...

Create Your own thread.

I would but it would end up like this with irrelevant posts...

I think an excel type spreadsheet would be very useful here. One that anyone can edit would be great.

That's a lot of trouble, a simple post with item number, description and price is as simple as it gets.

I like reading the ****

Me too but if I miss a few days, it's almost impossible to find the latest deal without wading through every single post.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, I just wish there was a thread like that and then people could come to a thread like this to show and tell.

Seen a whole pallet of dewalt miter saws today with that special buy logo on the side. The pallet was wrapped in plastic. Is there. A sale coming up?

Also scored 2 Bosch laser levels for .01 each!!!!! Still had the 82.06 stickers on them! :)

Spn, I found one of the Husky 52" chests with the LED and glass doors at $83.03 this morning in a Chicago suburb. It was a floor demo that they had reshrinkwrapped. It was hidden on it's side up in the nosebleeds with the bathtubs, probably by an employee waiting for it to penny out. It was missing the keys and had been kicked around a bit. The Husky case actually seemed kind of flimsy to me so I passed on it. The lowest they would discount because of condition and missing keys was $70. If anyone in the Chicago area wants in PM me.
