Change the URL from www. to m. then expand the Description section and you will see the in store SKU.

I got that one for 48 bucks, gonna keep it to add to my Bostitch collection. It's nice but doesn't feel as solid as my older 18 gauge Bostitch nailer

I have a (much) older Bostitch 15 ga angled nailer. One of the first magnesium ones they made...doesnt have the features the SmartPoint nailers do, but it still works great so I dont really feel the need to upgrade.

Ive never had a good 18ga brad nailer, would have been nice to get a SmartPoint for that but I wasted my chance at one.

LoL when I got the 15 gauge nailer, they had a 18 smart point nailer for 42 bucks. I did take it, it was gone last time I checked.

I'm looking at bostitch website. Why would you need a 15 16 and 18 gauge nailer?

I bought the 15 gauge because I wanted something big enough that it could **** crown molding up to a ceiling during installation.

I use a combination of the 15 ga and 18ga when doing casing/baseboard (the Bostitch 15ga leaves a pretty small hole for what it is so I dont mind filling it)

The 15ga might seem too heavy duty to some, especially considering the need to fill the nail holes. 16ga is probably almost as good with a smaller nail hole to fill, but as someone who already has a 15 and 18, I most likely would never buy a 16ga nailer.

I have an extra 18ga brad nailer if you want to make a trade :)

I had no issue with return-rebuy for a penny.

Consider yourself very lucky.

I was given grief just trying to get a price adjustment on an item that went on clearance after I bought it.

I could only imagine what they would do if it had dropped to a penny.

I've also been given grief for regular price adjustments, although one cashier that has done a bunch of return/rebuys for me would probably do it without blinking.

Gloves I talked about before were gone. Either they inventoried or someone bought them.... Should have just asked about them when I was there. Oh well. Did get that in wall cable thing at a penny. Also picked up two more of the shop lights.

Any idea of the SKU for the gloves?

474-448. Since they are off the shelf and were in the computer at .53, I suspect they were already pennied out when I saw them on Monday.

Yea I didn't see the gloves in the computer either. I know I saw them last week for 53 cents. I didn't bother looking for them though

What's MET?

I believe that MET stands for Merchandise Execution Team - that is the group of folks you see in orange shirts working through the various store sections checking the merchandise - checking to make sure there is sufficient stock, verifying pricing, and removing those clearance items that had been reduced to .01 that the employees missed (or us folks from Garage Journal were able to get for our own use.....).

Sometimes they do a good job, sometimes not so good. I found quite a few .01 items today when I visited a couple of stores today. Nothing too great, but an .01 item just the same. Will post my findings a little later.....

Some times they have black shirts around here. One of them told me it takes two weeks to make it around the store.

Ya there were like two full boxes. I wanted to grave 15-20 pairs. Oh well...

This was in Newington. Guy saw me walking with it and was like hey let me see that, you may have gotten lucky. Scans it and sure enough, play the lottery tonight he says. Tell the cashier Don ( I think was his name) knows about it. Got to SCO and no one even saw...
Saw a bunch of them in a cart later that I assumed were removed from the shelf. Looks like they pennied out about 4 months after the .03 price.

Anyone have a pic of the gloves

They are single pair pretty much identical to the ones they have now except different SKU.

Went to two stores tonight that have the Dewalt framing nailer at full price with a bunch in stock while others have it on clearance at 60 something but none in stock. Thought about return/buy but didn't get one.
Nothing really good tonight. Thought I was onto something when I saw Bostitch cases but they were empty...saw a Hitachi roofing nailer at $99.

Interesting thing I saw was a cart of old lights and small buddy heaters with RTV tags on them. I assume that means return to vendor. They were in the back of the store by the warehouse area. I didn't feel right taking things off though haha.

Can't find a fourth light. Looks like I might have to buy the last one online at full price.

Maine does have these. Select stores.

Fyi: the $0.01 markdowns are merchandise that had been on the shelf too long and didn't sell. It gets marked down to a penny then thrown away. HD is not allowed to sell those items. I've worked part time at HD in the hardware dept. for 1-1/2 years for the exercise (and that's a heck of a lot more than you might think) and I see these all the time. It frustrates me if I miss the final markdowns on some of the power tools before they get to the penny markdown status that no one can buy.

Leftover holiday special buy cordless kits, special buy toolboxes, etc are commonly in this status. If leftover from the holiday displays they go up in the racks where no one sees them (no shelf space is authorized).
They go through several automatic price markdowns because they went unsold for too long, and eventually reach the penny status.

Want deals? Ask your local Home Depot hardware department associate if he knows of current "no home" tools that are sitting on the shelf from a holiday sale. ;)
