I paid clearance price, but if I need to return this thing back, I don't want to have issues. Also, I just checked another gun purchased at another store - same deal - item 99301 belongs to lowes

HD is stupid for taking returns when item number on the box doesn't match. Unless, these are not HD returns, but Lowe's nailers went to HD through the manufacturer.

So nobody else have this mismatch on their boxes?

P.S. and I just answered my own question - hd stores are putting labels with item numbers. The label on this pic is covering "No" writing.

I just picked one of those up yesterday, and it has the same 2 stickers on it.

Yes it does

Ok...

So do we still think those are customer returns, or Lowe's sent them back to the manufacturer\distributor and then they ended up at HD?

I just want to know because if there's a scam going on in my area I better inspect every package I buy... not something I want to do otherwise

I think the sticker was put on by the manufacturer. I bet if you ordered it from Amazon it will have that same sticker. Same if you ordered from Joe Shmoes Nailer Expo

but it was put by manufacturer for Lowe's, right? Since you and I are not the only people who have sticker mismatches, I think it's somewhat safe to assume these were not Lowe's items returned to HD by customers. I hope this is the case.

Lol stop panicking. You got a $240 nailer for $63. You're not gonna return it.

What difference does it make if you got a new nailer?

. 01 bostitch nailer. My first unicorn

Three employees gathered and said I'm not selling you that. It has to be returned. He took it out of the cart and said I'll take it back to return goods.

Let's just say five minutes later they rang it up for a penny. I was polite.

You right :)

I did go to local HD and the bostitch boxes had that "other sku". So my guess is - it's coming this way from the manufacturer.
Now I feel better :)

I prefer the slides in the husky next to it for 100.00 more

For cheaper boxes watch Sears. When new models come out you can grab the old cheap.

I got the 42" Stainless with grip latch for under 400.00 last year.

I wish they were all deeper though.

Figures. I didn't look up linksys this weekend while out.

There are just too many things to have on a list to search when trying to hit more stores.

Yes they do. Bought a total of 7 of them at two different stores for .01. At one store, the SCO attendant refused to sell them to me (I found 6 of them on the shelf). She called up the Head Cashier, who also refused to sell them to me, but when I advised them of the corporate policy she stated that they "wouldn't sell them to me, but would let me have them at no charge". She walked me over to the exit, handed me the boxes and let me go on my way. So got a total of 7 of them for .01. Not a bad day.

I had purchased two of these a week ago and paid $15.03 (see last post) for each. Guess they will be going back to the store tomorrow. Will see if they will let me rebuy them. Not a big deal if not as I have enough of them for my use, and that of my family and friends.....

I need to check my stores a range extender would be cool. I think they tired selling IT related items but the technology turnover is to quick for them. I did get some good deals on leviton structured networking stuff a few years ago

Lynksys Wi-Fi Range Extender N300 RE100

INTERNET: 203304370 UPC: 745883596805

Please note that the boxes I purchased are different from the ones noted above. Attached below is a picture of some of the items, to include the extender, that I posted last week so that you can see the different boxes. All of mine rang up .01.

Those are cable clips that I found during my shopping trip on Friday, 7/24. They come in three sizes - small, medium, and large. Found them in the electrical section - they are routinely in their own rack hooked to the shelving units. Found approx 197 of them at four stores - breakdown of the units found below). Had some problems in two of the stores when I tried to exit the SCO - managers at first refused to sell, but once I advised them that I would contact corporate they finally gave in.

Breakdown of Clamps
Small – 86 SKU: 484-701
Medium – 53 SKU: 485-064
Large – 58 SKU: 485-592

At one of the stores I found some Snap-N-Lock water resistant Wire Connectors (2 in a pack – sorry no SKU numbers as there was no clearance sticker and they are no longer listed in HD.COM). There were two sizes – Yellow (18-12) and Brown (18-10). Not sure as to the original price of these items but know that they were more than $6 each (I purchased some smaller versions which were priced above $5). You will see these in the picture below as well.

Checked this Friday for some more (I travel the MD/VA/DC area) and didn't find any. Not sure if HD got smart and finally removed them or if some of the Garage Journal folks beat me to them (saw that someone listed finding one...).

Went out on Friday and found some more penny items (I don't find the real good items that some of the guys have posted, but have been sucessful with penny items). Will post my findings (in addition to the 7 Wi-Fi Extenders) and some pictures tomorrow......Lesson learned from this trip - if you see the items and think you might want them grab them quickly because someone else will.

Sorry, forgot to provide SKUs for the rest of the items. See my previous posting on 7/26 - 12:25 AM for more info and pictures.....

Nope nothing. Everything is picked clean. All of the stores seem pretty much straightened out and organized. Nothing worthwhile in any clearance sections.

My observation as well. See any more of those shop lights? I really need a fourth one lol...

lol not yet.. didn't get out much this weekend. did you check North Hampton? I couldn't find a single decent deal in Rochester, Somersworth, or Newington this weekend. Went to Merrimack and Londonderry, didn't have much time in either, but didn't find anything worthwhile. Found a Ridgid cordless bare tool that showed a penny in Price Check but scanned full price, no luck on getting it for a penny.

I did however make $600 off of nails yesterday.

Ya. I went to Hampton on Friday, nothing to be had.

Saw a Jackstand set in Portland in a location that might not end up getting found once they go to get rid of them. Will try to keep an eye out on that.

Windham had a few empty Bostitch cases. Guy wanted nothing to do with getting them down for me to look at them. Trying to convince me they were for a display that was on the shelf. I just gave up with them and started using the orange stairs myself at follow on stores.

I think I also mentioned the two Hitachi roofers that were $99 and $100 I probably should have grabbed to flip on eBay. Portland stores have the Dewalt framing nailers at full price with multiple in stock while all NH stores have it on clearance with none in stock.

Already talked about those in-wall cable kits. Got one in Newington for .01, and nabbed another out of an employees cart that was removing things from the shelf.

Saw a cart with a bunch of RTV stuff later that night, but didn't feel right about shopping in that haha. I do have some morals...

Congrats on the nails. Craigslist sales?
