All of the clearance nails are penny status here, but cleaned out. The 2 stores near me with tool rental said they cleaned out the hitachi nails this morning.

The only penny nails I could find in 3 stores was 1 box of Porter Cable Brad nails project pack

I have only seen hitachi nails in tool rental for 4.** a box. I have never asked anyone in a store where a closeout or specific item that is know to be on closeout is. I assume they would just never tell me if they had a cart of penny items. Everyone has a friend they could tell to come get a deal. I'm glad you found those.
Only seen one store where they rang up .01 in the tool rental section and the little old lady said at SCO we just can't sell anything for a penny. I admit after I bought a few thousand of the 4.** nails in tool rental last week I did not price check a couple more stores I passed over on them, maybe they were a .01. Today is the first day I saw Hitachi finish nails in the tool rental section so I grabbed one to price and it came up .01 and then the others did as well. Not many there though.

I have been to stores in million dollar neighbors and the poorest side of town. There really is no way to tell what they have until you go in. Some of the cleanest newest stores have a lot of old stock and some don't, some of the stores in poor areas are 100% current and some are real bad. I picked some stuff up high that had so much dust they couldn't have been moved in years.
All the stores I see only have on display the Dyson DC Multi Floor (yellow) and the Purple Cinetic sp? Ball. While out of the state traveling over the weekend I saw some stores had the Dyson DC40 animal that rang up 327 or 269 but they were not on display so no one will ever buy them. I assume one day they will just get cheaper in price. If this was a previous model I wonder why it is not cheaper by now like the other Dysons I see people buy at clearance.

DC40 is like $125 here, but out of stock
I have seen two different DC 40. One regular one for $100 and an animal thats $269. I didn't realize there were two different ones until I saw a store that had both in the price check app.

I bought a DC40 Multi Floor for 100.00, it is these DC40 Animals that are still to high. You can buy them new from Walmart for 199.00

Pretty sure it was DC65 for $150, DC40 for $125, and the stick vacuum for $100 around here

These are all screwed up. Computer says two pack and different upc.
They are just single packs. On the shelve with a white standard tag that says 19.97 but they ring up 5.03

I have one of these and love it. $5 is a steal. I may see if I can get one as a backup.
I don't see many returns at my local stores anymore. In the tool area I should say. The stores around me have a **** load of returned lawn and garden stuff. The problem is the stuff is pretty used and 25% off isn't' good enough for a used tool unless it was something I really needed.

Called store manager yesterday. He said they don't do price adjustments or return/rebuy for clearance items. He said if a clearance item is returned that they have to send it somewhere.
Proceeded to call customer service and they told me the same exact thing.

Picked up my clearance Husky 34" chests. They had 2 sets up in the rafters that had never made it to the floor. Top chest was $40.03, bottom roller cab was $60.03. $210 total for both sets. Second set will go to my dad. I think I did alright. 
I double checked and the DC40 was $100
I searched this store twice and this one was no where to be found.

Did you find these on the PRICE CHECK app before lookin up in the rafters? Is that a better price than the Harbor Freight boxes of similar size?

I wish i could get the Home Depot pro app on the iPhone to show the real store pricing. There is someone at my local HD scanning everything with his phone, but not sure what he's keeping track of.

Unless he has their mobil phone software installed on his phone (doubtful) and has access to their network (doubtful), he's only checking internet prices.
Probably doing the same thing that any of us can do, using the barcode scanner within the HD app or HD Pro app, which just pulls up internet prices.
Would be nice to have the program that the HD employees have on their handheld/mobile phone. It's basically the same info you find in the Price Check app.
I found it in the price check app first. I saw it in the app a month or so ago at the *.06 clearance level and then found where it was located. I wasn't interested at that price, so it was just a matter of waiting. If anyone is in NE Wisconsin, the Appleton East side store has one of the rolling cabinets but no chest. It is still at the *.06 price, but it's hidden away and probably forgotten in the rafters like these were at the West side store.
These have more storage than the Harbor Freight 27" boxes but less than the 44". I would put the build quality about the same as the Harbor Freight 27" but less than the 44". For $100 though I couldn't ask for more.
Yes it's that one. It's better built than previous Husky boxes that I've seen, the drawers snap close with a very positive action which is nice.
I checked it out in the store a few months ago and was pretty pleased with it. I was waiting for them to clearance out, I will have to try and find a few today.

Swung through a depot in Orlando I had never been to on my way out of Florida and found 2x paslode 528-494 fuel/nail packs for a penny! Clearance tag dated 7/4 said 12.04 was 23.98. Price check at self check out revealed .01!
Im not going to be back anytime soon, so for anyone living in the Orlando area, the home depot off exit 111 on I-4 had 3 Dewalt 304 recip saws for 75.06. I left them on the shelf, so I assume they will drop lower on the near future.

I saw those lighted toolboxes at Costco too. Not sure what they're for, seems like a really odd product.

Sadly, they never seem to discount the Weber grills.
