Good knives, and even better deal on the undernourished sinks at 03 pricing... may be a penny soon.

Not that there's anything wrong with that. He was doing us a service by posting his finds so that we could go out and look for them ourselves. Would you prefer that he not post his finds at all, put them up for sale on Craigslist, and then we wouldn't even know what to look for?

just because one store has a clearance deal doesn't mean the same for others. I have 2 stores within 12 miles of each other. Sometimes they have the same "deals" and most of the time they don't.

In his case he would brag and show pictures of all the **** he bought for $ .01. He would then hit are classified section and ask for $200.

Yes.

He should have sold it here first, and THEN showed that he got it for a penny!!!

Thanks for the tip on the knives. I will check them out.

As for the sinks that aren't getting enough food... :bounce:

Does anybody have an extra multimeter they want to sell? All in my area are still $90. Or have the clamps for $30. Would rather have the multimeter for working on cars.

Picked up a clamp meter today for 30.03 and a 30 pack of 4' T8 32watt Phillips bulbs for 21.03. Really sweet deal on the bulbs...I'll be set for a while!

This was in Cary, NC.

Has anyone bought one of the Bostitch Model # N80CB-1 coil framing nailer? I found an open box one for $63 so I bought it. Other than owner's manual there was nothing else in the box. What else should be in the box?

"When in Doubt....Use Self-Check-Out"

Was checking out the clearance section in Electrical at my local store, and came across some LED single pack bulbs. No price or shelf sticker so I stopped an associate with a Scanner for a price check. She scanned it and I noticed it came up a Penny. She immediately said that can't be sold for that and she went to talk to some one else about it...but not before she got the other 2 lights that were sitting on the shelf. Came back a few minutes later and said she would be glad to sell them to me for 5.**. I said no thanks and wished I had just used the SCO and kept on walking. Live and Learn. :shocking:

Wise guy. The nailer and owners manual

At a quick glance I didn't see any info in the manual about what else was in the box. I got lucky finding this one.

I got nailed the same way a couple of weeks ago. They marked over the bar code so the finish wouldn't scan. Still got a decent price but they should have been a penny.

Picked up six more of the faucet kits. All variations of brushed stainless. To those who were interested, let me know. These had never even been put on clearance, they were on top shelf I'm faucet aisle, so very poor inventory management here...

Had first issue with SCO. Computer froze and lady was like oh I can do that for you. When it scanned penny lady said that's weird. Called over other lady who said oh we can't sell those to which I mentioned the policy. She mumbled something about last clearance price as I continued to scan them, other lady shut down register... Man came over and spoke to one of the ladies, after their conversation at one of the employee computers she came back, scanned the remaining three I hadn't scanned yet and said I was all set.

Apologized to the original SCO lady saying it wasn't her fault. She said "someone messed up, you win".

Its funny, I bought 6 of those faucets as well a couple months ago when they were on clearance - paid between $20-$30 each plus tax.

Ya I had seen them at final clearance a month or so ago. Obviously they are penny now. Doesn't look like this store ever even put them on clearance...

Heading back up to North Conway tomorrow. I don't know why, I always get disappointed when I go there. Gonna check Lowes out there too

Good luck! Found the single LED T8s to go with the 10 pack in Portsmouth. They were no home so I got lucky and spotted them a few aisles down from the bulbs. Hopefully the 10pack is delivered next week.

West Cobb store today had door knobs on clearance. Kwikset, baldwin and Schlage. Baldwin stuff was about 40% off. Others were about 30%.

Found a whole cart full of nails and thought of you guys, but didn't have a chance to price check.

What does the "no home" actually mean? I noticed several Milwaukee tools with No Home written on the boxes a couple of months ago. They rang up full price.

Not much today hit up 3 stores. Two paslode fuel and nail plastic cases for a penny. Also 6 Honda fuel caps that had penny sticker on it. Walked up to the scanner with a 4 gallon sprayer that had the spring Black Friday sticker on it it rang up full price. They had some tool chest a few dollars off.

That tool chest is down to 118.04 here in Texas

No home just means there is no designated place for them. It's common with new items where they are planning to change the layout of the bays or old items that have been taken out of them and replaced with the new
