You would have saved yourself some time and much effort by checking the computer app to see if it was even on clearance or what the price was...GRRRR, checked again at lunch and the Milwaukee MMs are still $97.06 here. Price tag was printed 5/26/2015. I may be waiting a while for the 33.03 price. I was hoping they'd drop today after the weekend.
Not a clearance deal, but wholy cow LED bulbs have gotten cheap. They now have a 4pk of Ecosmart LED bulbs 60W equivalent for $9-$10. Gonna grab a couple boxes on my next trip, they were sold out today but are a normal in stock item. These bulbs have dropped in price by 50% recently and are now normal everyday price at that discount.
Interestingly, they're still at the $19.97 price online.

I noticed the same thing in my area...snagged a multi meter but no GLM 40s to be found...
I found another of each meter today and I grabbed 60 t8 bulbs for $28. I also got a $6 50' hose.
I picked up a similar deal today. Not the same that I have been using but for the price, I'm good with it.

Those of you needing T8 bulbs these are the ones to grab. They are $10.03 locally and had a normal price of $42.97. They are a very high quality T8 bulb. I grabbed 7 boxes for my garage last week.

Maybe I should have checked the employee breakroom
Did you check electrical in rafters? Not trying to be a smart @ss but I always was looking in the hardware isles.

My local store still has the multimeter for 97.06 or whatever code they use. Waiting for it to go to 33.03 so I can grab another for a buddy. Or if he doesn't want it sell it here or keep it as a home meter so I don't have to go out to the van every time I need it.

Same thing happened to my local store a hour ago. Clamp rang up for $30.03 but the meter is still $97.
After reading your post, I went back to look at the tag I posted a picture of. It's no wonder HD has inventory issues. The printed label states they are T12, but they are in actually T8 bulbs. I went back out to the garage to double check to make sure I didn't buy more T12s.
I did notice, it appeared that there was two more boxes up in the rafters. A 30 pack will last me a long time but at that price, it's a deal.

Mine says 5/28/15. But I found and bought one 2 hrs west of me in Toledo when I was there for work. They must do it on a store by store basis or maybe district basis. 2 stores near me have them at 97.06 with the above print date.

They're still $90-something here, but at almost every store I go to. I was at a store yesterday and they had an end-cap display with both meters in the garden area (lawn mowers, outdoor tools, etc..). Only reason I saw it was I was scanning the outdoor clearance shelf.
Pretty bad product placement I would think...

Check it out. My local store has fireplace tool sets (pokers and such) on clearance with tags for 2013. Double checked them.
I could live with that. Will have to keep and eye out.

They recently did inventory, so all the stuff in rafters above each department is labelled pretty well. Couldnt find a cardboard box labelled with the correct SKU, nor could I find the meters "loose" either.
I figured they were in other places (tool corral, maybe with car electrical, etc) in the store but I surely couldnt find them. The fact they list 2 makes me think they have at least 1 on hand somewhere, just a matter of finding it I guess.
I dont HAVE to have it, but it would be nice.

Some of the stores around me have 2 different areas in Electrical where they keep electrical stuff (Klein, Commercial Electric) In different aisles. One store had 2 meters in stock, couldn't find them. Price check app said something like "aisle E2" which was the clearance end cap in electrical. Well I found the sticker on the hanger where they were supposed to be. Looked around everywhere. They ended up being above one of the electrical tools areas in an unlabeled mixed box.
