Are they a penny now, they were still 4 bucks last weekend

I would think they would be close.

Does anyone have an approximate date that the 1.25 openers went down the $62.03. Like I said, the ones I bought yesterday, one had a $235 tag with a 5/11/15 date and the other two had the $62.03 tag with the same 5/11/15 date.

If they did in fact drop to 62.03 on 5/11, they should be very close to being penny.

How would that happen?

I didn't check the PC. I was just walking down the aisle looking for the Klein pliers that are ~$5 and found these hanging on the shelf posts..if that makes any sense lol.

You know, I find it really difficult to go off of tag dates. There are some with new clearance tags and they have dates from last year. Then there are also those that have dates from just a week ago. :headscrat

I have had decent luck around here with tag dates, this is the first head scratcher I have run into.

Does anybody know the difference between the two chamberlains? The ones that are currently about $60 and $125. I know the $60 has a battery and more HP. Anything else?

I believe the cheaper one doesn't come with the Wifi piece, it is capable but needs an additional purchase.

The date on the tag is not always the date it went down to the price on the yellow tag. I've seen tags printed with a cheaper price and still the same old date.

Right I understand that, I thought it was the date the tag was printed (supposed to be). Maybe when they print it they can either update it and if they don't it ends up printing the old date :headscrat

I saw some thing with a may date on it for whatever price as week. Then the guy with the cart printed a new tag with a cheaper price but it still had the may date on it.

Maybe he messed up. Dunno

The 1.25HP model comes with the MyQ gateway (external) and the .75HP model comes with the MyQ radio/gateway built into the unit.

When the nails started dropping the date was about two weeks old. They also used black and white sticker on multi meters because they were to lazy to change stickers.

Some young chick working there asked me if I was stocking up on them (this was right after I paid). I said "why not, they were a penny each!"

She shook her head and walked away.

Haha that's funny. Almost like the older lady who commented how nice that intermediate chest was and how I could put all my stuff in it.

I try not to be a pig and take everything I find -- I only take what I actually need. I like to leave some good deals behind so that somebody else has a chance to get a good deal. If I took everything that I found, then nobody else would have a chance and I'd only be letting my greed screw the next guy. That's bad karma.

Think of it this way -- if you leave the item on the shelf, someone else has a chance to get it. Good karma.

If you take everything, then nobody else has a chance to get it. Bad karma.

Halloween gifts? I doubt that the trick or treaters will enjoy the deals as much as a GJer who might be lucky enough to find them.
