The level is still @ $79 here in Virginia (Reston & Fairfax)

I'm going to keep checking back on it. They have plenty of stock at both stores.

Chris

Surprised I actually found this one in North Hampton, NH. Someone must have returned it, because they didn't have any last week when I was there

This item showed $62 on the app but scanned $228. I am sure it will be gone once it hit $62. If I have tie I will showed the cashier the price on app and ask them to match it.

If you find one, make sure to open it up.

My local store had one and it was taped like the box had come apart. Luckily I opened it and found it was missing 1 remote, all the safety sensor setup and the LCD control panel.

Thought about asking the store to give me the parts, or give me the newer version of the same door opener but figured they would just tell me its on clearance *because* its missing all those parts.

I had the same thing with the ripped box. Seems to be common with the end blowing out. Fortunately all the parts were with mine.
Before you return it, I'd call Chamberlain and explain you bought it and discovered some parts had fallen out at some point. A lot of times manufactures will send you the parts instead of having you return to the store. It's worth a shot...

I actually didnt buy it....now Im rethinking that.

I dont absolutely need it, but it would be nice to have (2 car garage with separate doors, 1 of the openers is already a chamberlain belt drive, the other is an older chain drive that still works fine)

Same here none marked down.

The one store Ive ever seen them at marked them down. I snagged 3 of the extra large and 4 of the small boxes. Had to be retrieved from overhead and they were dusty as all get out, like the employees even forgot to put them on the floor. Aside from those at that store, I havent seen them at any of my other local stores.

Cashier commented on how good of a deal I got, I even used a 10% off coupon on top of it all.

And to be honest, if I were keeping them for myself, I like the Ridgid boxes better. But they sure aint 18 or 13 each!

Nice heading to the store and see if it rings up the same.

The $62 is model "930". Store around here have the newer replacement model "950". Both are 1-1/4 hp with similar box which took me a while to look at the model#. GL finding one as that would be awesome.

okay....got a tuff question... I saw one item which is a penny item across most store (no stock)... but I found it at this particular store(stock 1)....but it rang up at full price... damn it.

so question is....How do I get it for penny or cheap clearance ....and how long would it take for that store price to go down to penny or clearance cheap..

Also can you buy it and return it at another store which is at penny price....do a return/rebuy thing.....LOL......probably impossible but anyone try and success or failure???

That's a good call companies would rather send parts then have the store take it back as a return and they have to pay HD for it.

Most items in 77Ford's picture were never on the shelves around here.

I went through a similar thing Friday. Manager stuck to his guns for a little off regular price. I left it there. Maybe an employee got a deal or maybe not. I'll never know
