The $62 is model "930". Store around here have the newer replacement model "950". Both are 1-1/4 hp with similar box which took me a while to look at the model#. GL finding one as that would be awesome.

All of the openers at my local store are model 950. No model 930 in stock

Oh wow. Because about 3 months back, we found them stocked on the computer, me and the tool guy were looking for it for an hour.

Oh well. Good to know. So maybe some people can look forward to grabbing some tomorrow.

There is wood and metal blades on the display.

Portsmouth, NH

They also had like six boxes of bulbs similar to or identical to the ones you picked up the other day SPN, had a guy take them down and of course he scans it while he is on the ladder and says oh, they aren't in the system. So then he brings the box down and starts searching the HD site for something similar. After about 10 min, says I can sell them for $25. Said no thanks don't need them that bad...

Found one, after 3 stores and none to be seen found one in the electrical clearance section. It was all sealed staples and all. Thank you guys for posting the new price, at 62 dollars it's a great deal. Was going to put in a new battery on my 3/4 unit and add the MyQ wireless system but this will be a better upgrade.

Also grabbed a MBI top tool chest thinking it would ring up to a penny, no dice still 49 dollars. Oh well. Here is a tag of one if anyone needs it.

I saw some of the Ryobi Expand it heads marked down to 6.98. I didn't have a use for them and I don't think there is much money in flipping them either. It's late in the year for Craigslist in Michigan, and I imagine shipping would be expensive because of the size. Sorry for no sku's I just gave a quick look at that one.

Got pretty much shut down on a penny purchase earlier. Had a handful of the spray nozzles , the cashier freaked out when they rang up a penny. Got the manager called over who gave me a new excuse that policy is they can only sell one for a penny. Not worth my time on a weekend to argue especially over cheap nozzles.

It's comical some of the excuses managers come up with, I'd much rather them be consistent regardless.

No other deals locally that haven't already been posted.

There must be something going around in NC. I've not had much luck over here either.

In the charlotte areas, it seems as though all the stores have gone through a complete inventory and freshening up.

The meters that went on sale, best I saw was 1 store that had some but they only got down to 66.00 range.

Unless there's some Charlotte GJ's here hitting the stores hard?

Not sure what stores you had in mind hitting, but many of the stores in the surounding DC area have undergone a clean-up/inventory so much of the pickings are slim. Whereas there are still a few deals out there, there are few opportunities to find some of the more sought after tools in the DC area - just don' see reductions on these items, nor sure if it is due in part to the economy of this area. I have been looking for a coil nailer - any brand - and most if not all of the ones posted here on GJ are at full price here.

I find a lot of penny items - also found two of the All Black 5 Dwr tool boxes on Friday ($25.03), an Empire 72" Box Level (.01) - but again, things like the Empire 48" and Husky 24" Laser Levels are all at full price. Very hit or miss. I enjoy looking and finding these items and as noted have been successful on a few occassions (2 weeks ago found 2 72" levels and 7 Black Diamond Plate Shop lights in one store, all for a penny each) as well as 33 penny items on Friday (D Wing cable holders, fan light switches, cable mounting kits, big screen wiring kits, etc.). Walked out of one store with 17 garden whirlygigs (normally $29.99) for free, as well as 8 nice copper whirlygigs (were $79.99) for free as well (although that bargain required help from Corporate as the MDO refused to give them to me for a penny. To make sure I got them, I paid the last clearance price $13.02 each, and then worked with Corporate to get a refund - not a whole lot of fun, but worth it. Same store that gave me the $29.99 whirlygigs also gave me 7 Linksys extenders for free - there policy if you find a penny item, they will give it to you to avoid corporate finding out.

Believe that some of these finds are a result of the clean-up/inventory as some of them were in the clearance areas, but mostly through determination and keeping a list of items posted here to use in the search of the various store areas (electrical, lighting, hardware, tools, etc.).

Let me know if you have any questions, concerns, etc. and be safe - some of the areas these stores area located in are not the safest after dark.

Thanks for the info. I am kind of limited to what I could bring back home due to my suitcase size haha.

For anyone with a baby, pretty much all of the Safety 1st brand stuff is dirt cheap around here. This includes gates, cabinet locks, outlet covers, table edge guards, door knob safety covers, etc.

For all those lucky enough to score one of the Chamberlain garage door questions, I have a question.

At the contractor computer, it shows the 1.25 HP model being clearanced out for 62.03, but the model number is the HD930EV.

Hidden in the back of the store, covered in dust is a Chamberlain HD930EVP, slightly different SKU.

I tried to ring it up at SCO, and got the wait for associate screen. She typed something in, and it popped up as $248.

Is there a different model, the HD930EVP, or is an employee in my store going to have a new garage door opener tonight?

Thanks.

Get a picture of the HD930EV on your phone (take a pic from the Price Check).

If the one she scanned said "not found" then show her the pic and tell her the SKU. I know the model is slightly different, but it's worth a try.

I had this problem (as others have) with the Bosch laser distance measurer. Scans "not found", but I just show them the pic from Price Check and they enter the SKU.

Edit: upon checking Google, I found the following:
HD930EVP SKU number 1001206204
HD930EV SKU number 1000005903

so yes, there are 2 different models...but you can still try my suggestion

The specs look to be the same. Perhaps the "P" was a model released under some promotion. Best bet would've been to check the SKU of the EVP model in the price checker.

The only store around me that showed any stock showed 4, of course they're nowhere to be found. I tore that store apart, the only place they could be is in an employee-only area (receiving?).

Funny listening to some of the employees excuses why they can't be found. This time it was "oh that was a promotional item, I haven't seen any of those for months."

Eh, you win some, you lose some...

The HD930EVP is a different model with a different store SKU (SKU# 1001-206-204) than the HD930EV (SKU# 1000-005-903).

If he got the "not found" at SCO, then that means the item either was never in their inventory or has fallen off their inventory completely, so he wouldn't be able to look it up in Price Check app.

Another reason why the "wait for attendant" alert would pop up is if he scanned a clearance sticker instead of the UPC

Likely a variation in the MyQ or Wi-Fi capabilities. I suspect the EVP needs the internet gateway add on.
