Try to peek into receiving. Guarantee you they're in there

Also, I've seen tool boxes in the upper rafters in Lawn and Garden outside, so check there also.
I did peek in there, didn't see anything. I checked everywhere else. Secondaries and overhead...

Ah he is in GA. Same story though.

Seems very unlikely that they could be lost, but the woman at the service desk tried to reassure me that it's very common and sometimes stuff doesn't even come in. But I'm sure if 3 pallets of tool chests were missing from the truck someone would notice

I found on of the Bosch laser measures for $25.03 yesterday and another of the bath refresh kits for a penny. The 3/4 hp Chamberlain WiFi door opener was marked down to $62.02. I also found the following light bulbs for a penny a box:

SKU
672 715 20 watt 24" T12 bulbs (10 pack)
255 344 32 watt 48" T8 bulbs (30 pack)
166 763 Feit 45 watt R20 incandescent flood light bulb (12 pack)
938 238 32 watt 48" T8 bulbs (10 pack)

The self checkout attendant wanted to argue about the bulbs, but after she called the manager they just decided to give them to me.

What brand were the bulbs? I want to take a look at my store

They had 3 of the 3/4 hp door openers two days ago @ $124. Today they're @ $62....Zero inventory! The store said they would do a credit for the difference, we'll see.

Successful trip back to Rhode Island Ave store. Will post details when I get back to hotel.
Even left some for Grizzly, hopefully he doesn't get too greedy this time...

Edit:
Picked up two of the Husky impacts for .01ea, one fish tape light for 2.53, and 10 small Bessey clamps for .01ea, SKU 1000-039-458. They still have a handful of the lights, some in the lighting clearance section, and a few with the fish tapes. They probably have about 100+ of the Bessey clamps left in the middle tool aisle above the table saws (assuming the flats are full, they have I think 3 flats of I guesstimate 50 clamps). The impacts were right on the shelf where they are supposed to be with the 63.06 I think it was tag on the shelf...

The Milwaukee meters are penny, they have dropped off the app. I tore that store apart today trying to find the 8 clamp meters the app showed on Monday. Didn't find anything. I thought I had them when I saw a mixed box with the SKU on the side but no go. I must have walked the tool aisles and electrical aisles ten times each looking high and low.

They still had those crappy husky impacts? Wow.

First Bessey clamps I've seen since Lowes closeout last year.

Ya I was surprised. Right on the shelf too.

They have the large clamp 2 or 3 pack for 19.** I think it is. Should have taken a picture.

Meters are a penny? gonna have look around some more tomorrow...

I couldn't find any at several home depots at even $33 around here (SF Bay Area). Hopefully I'll be able to find some in Sacramento if I go next week.

I suspect. They were on the app Monday and not today so. They must have dropped yesterday. Store I went to yesterday didn't have them on the app either.

I just found my first penny nails up on the second level. The guy said that he had to check them before he could pull them and said they are out of the system and refused to sell them to me. They had close to 30 cases.

I hate how they scan when they pull down. I just try and get my own stuff now. Do so until they tell me to get off the ladder....

After reading about yalls experiences I decided to grab the big goofball-looking high school kid from the front and he called the hardware guy over. Oh well, I was really there looking for the husky/ dewalt boxes, and the multimeters anyway. They must have sold them in the past few days.

So once it's in your cart they have to sell it but if you say I'm buying that will you help me put it in my cart they can say no?

I wouldn't have walked away from 30 cases of nails.

Anyone have a meter to sell at cost + shipping/tax? Someone offered in PM and then disappeared when I sent them my zip.

Where are you located? No saw blades at two stores today.

I'm in Texas. The guy didn't seem too interested in pulling them today, so a couple of buddies are going to go in tomorrow and see if they are still there.

ex homedepot employee here. Store policy is once items drop to under $0.10 it is supposed to be marked completely down to $0 in the store system (inventory) and thrown in the compactor and NOT ALLOWED TO BE SOLD TO ANY CUSTOMER (can be fired if caught)...yeah i know it *****, I have literally thrown out thousands of dollars worth of products unwillingly. The game is to catch the stuff just before it hits that point, all of the department heads get a list of what products gets clearanced and will be heading for the bin.

Also not many people know, the yellow ladders are for anyone (customers) to use.

One more thing, If you have a home depot card, when checking out say "I want my lowes 5%" and the cashier will take 5% off to match lowes credit card. You can ONLY pay with the home depot card though, there is not a work around, computer won't let you pay another way. Hope this saves people some money.
