Those orange inventory tags are from 2013...at least at my stores they are. The green inventory tags are from 2014.

That store has a lot of stuff in their overhead that's years old...if their color coding falls in line with the way my stores are done.

I wondered what the colors meant. Will have to check it out next time I am in a store.

Don't think an orange sticker will make a penny. Just means they didn't rotate stock or it could be an item that is still current and hasn't changed part numbers or designs in years.

I bought stuff for full price that has three different color stickers on it.

Local HD has the M12 speaker/drill combo back up at $104. They have a ton of green, bare Ryobi cordless tools, without boxes (looked like display models), for damn-near full retail prices. WTF is up with that? Customers don't really buy into that BS, do they? No boxes, no accessories, just the bare tools, and they all looked like they've been handled like a street-corner, crack-ho.

But they have moved a lot of the outdoor furniture out of the area next to the self-checkout, and filled it with several aisles of tools. Nothing new, just a revamped look for that area. Also noticed that for about a month or so, the self-checkout registers have all been down, and the whole section is blocked off. Anyone know what's up with that?

Some of these stores just plain ****... out-loud and twice.

Looks like HD started carrying KFC items. They got some stuff stored up on the top shelf...

Stores in SE Michigan have been doing a complete tool area reset. They finished the store closest to me, but the other store is a nightmare right now. They always ask too much for open box or display tools most of the time. One store had a Bosch Bulldog display drill float around for six months they wanted 120 dollars for it. It probably worked ok, but it looked like it went through a war.

I also found this sticker, but couldn't find the wrench. Didn't check a computer, but it's probably a penny based on the date. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1442874435.704582.jpg

Surprised no one has posted this yet - Delta 1.28 elongated for $107.40. Ship to home or ship to store. No unicorns here, so not as much savings but a lot easier to get this deal. 4 out of 5 stars in the reviews.

How do the PRO Xtra deals work? Do I have to have a business account?

No, I have one. It's useless unless you buy tons of paint. You get points for buying paint. That's it. Unless you are a contractor or professional painter, don't bother. You can sign up on the pro website. If you have a Pro account, just click the Pro Xtra link (on the HD Pro site) on the right to sign up or link your account.

I've had it for over a year and still have $0 spend towards Pro Xtra

I agree with don't bother. It's surprising how many liquids that are sold in paint cans aren't "paint" for Pro points purposes.

Another useless thing just like My Lowes

I don't spend enough to qualify for the discounts, but disagree with useless as I do get some dollar off coupons and notification of deals. No, they aren't unicorn type deals, but still some good ones. The one I posted a couple hours ago is probably 40% off. I should probably buy one just because it's almost free as my county offers $100 rebate on low flow toilets.

That all comes from HD Pro, not HD Pro Xtra
