I have one installed for about a year now, same batteries, no phantom flushing...Don't feel too bad...the Amazon reviews for it are pretty terrible. Apparently it eats batteries every couple weeks, and will start flushing buy itself at random times.

The m12 drill and radio were marked at 104 in store but 89 online i showed the guy on the computer and he said they would price match. So i got it for 89.
Did you have any trouble getting them to price match, or should I expect a challenge when I ask them?
Went shopping on Friday, but due to the fact that my daughter had an afternoon Doctor's appointment, was not able to go far, or for long. As such, checked out one of my local Maryland stores, a couple of Virginia stores, and the one store in DC. Well, as many of you may have noticed in your stores, the inventory and cleanup has made it a little bit harder to actually find a bargain or two.
Went looking for some more of the Klein Illuminated Fish Rod Tips after posting earlier in the week that they had been reduced to a penny, only to find that most stores no longer had any (not sure if that was the work of the MET Team, or other GJB members). However, I was able to find 4 of them at the DC store (they were moved from the electronics section to the clearance area). Also found some more flourescent light bulbs for a penny at one of the VA stores (this now makes a total of 10 boxes - more than enough to light up the diamond plate shop lights I got from HD - I have both the 2 light silver, and 3 light black).
As for the Bessy Clamps, they were found in the DC store - 06GMC5.3L made me aware of same when he came and visited the DC area. Unfortunately, the amount he saw was no longer available (they must have saw the ones he bought and went looking - this is the same store that refused to sell him or I HDMI and Composite cables). Did however, find the 8 shown over in the clamp area - they were all over the place, not neatly stacked, so it looks as if they were basically thrown there. As for the composite cables, found those in one of the VA stores, nothing else, with the exception of painters tape nothing else looked inviting in the DC store.
However, the best bargain of the day was the one I got on the Gorilla Grip 5 pack of gloves. I have been looking for them ever since they were posted by Winter on 13 September (see the picture he posted below). In his posting he stated he found them for $2.59 (originally $10 a pack) and I have been looking for them high and low ever since. I was completing my search at the store located off of Little River Turnpike and I just about walked into a "new" Gorilla Glove display that was not there the previous week. I walked over to same and noted that it was almost completely full of the Gorilla Grip 5 pack of gloves posted by Winter. I thought for a minute and wondered if they would be a penny given the amount of time that they had been sitting. So I grab a pack and make my way to the SCO, and low and behold they scan a penny. So - the question is would I be able to buy them or not. So I take one box off the display (it had 36 packs in it) and take it to the SCO and begin to scan them. Attendant is watching but makes no move to stop me or even check to see what I am scanning. Get done, use my gift card to pay (much easier than coins, bills, or credit cards) and walk out to my car. Go back in and pick up the other box on the display. It has 32 packs of gloves in it. Go back and again scan them without issue at the SCO. So at the end of it all I got 67 packs of gloves for .70 including tax.
Now before you call me greedy - the gloves already have a place to go. My daughter, who is a brain cancer survivor (she was first diagnosed at age 10 - she is now 23 years of age) goes to a facility that works to integrate the handicapped into the working world. Most of the jobs are in the service organizations (janitorial, food service, horticultural), but the individuals are very happy to work, and they are some of the best employees around (tend not to complain, are on time, and enjoy being useful - maybe Obama should take note). Given the nature of the jobs that these folks work, figure the gloves can go a long way to help. So they will be dropped off shortly and used by some of the best folks in the world.
How much for the Bessey Clamps? I need a few of those. Bessey Clamps not on sale in my end.
Hello
These still show 49.98 in the HD computer at the store. Is there a chance it will ring up at 1 Cent?
I am in Texas.
I think that if the computer is showing that price, they're probably not a penny. But it doesn't hurt to check...take it to self check out, hit the price check button, and if it comes up a penny, hit the add to transaction button!
Good luck, let us know how it goes.

The description also states "Includes a free oil change" but I am not sure how they include that benefit.
If I remember, somebody had mentioned these CE Tech HDMI cables. I spotted them today after I bought some new LED motion lights (not clearanced). Since we just bought a new TV, I figured we could use an HDMI for the Bluray player and figured it was cheap enough at the $4.83 price for the pair so I grabbed them.
When the girl at the Pro check out went to ring them up, it wouldn't scan the stickerd price so she tried the UPC on the package back. That's when it rang up a penny, She asked the guy at the Pro-desk about giving them to me and he said no, you have to call a manager. When she got off the phone she told me the set was free as they should have been removed from the shelf. According to her, it's the local store's policy not to sell penny deals but they are supposed to throw them away, which she said they go into a locked dumpster.
Whether it is or not, I don't know but it would explain why I can never spot many of the deals posted here.
gee... nice set there. congrats ~
btw, is that China or Taiwan made?
Unfortunately its China
But its going into my shed for the few times I need stuff to work on my outdoor equipment. China is fine for that, especially for the price I paid.

It wasnt hidden anywhere but was the only one, sitting on one of the wood top tool benches. No shelf sticker for it. Punched the SKU into the store computer and found nothing so I figured it would be a penny.
Went to SCO and scanned it (the only barcode on the package) and got the "See Attendant" screen. Figured I was hosed at that point but waited it out....attendant scanned it and still couldnt find it. Asst. mgr scanned it with handheld, still couldnt find it.
She walked to store manager for a couple minutes, came back and said "Merry Christmas, its not in the computer anymore so its yours"
Faith restored in my local store....they never seemed to be accommodating with anything (even a few legit returns of mine have been given grief) but it was nice to see them throw me a bone for once.

Brother in law here, I can confirm he *****.... But he does tell me about some deals.

Around here you are lucky to get 25% off even if it is a display.

Plaistow, Seabrook, and North Hampton. Can't find that Husky top chest anywhere...
I found the Husky top SKU # 1000026196 for a penny. I went through self check and the cashier stopped the transaction before it went through. He called the MOD and they changed the price to $25.03. Do you have any suggestions? This was my first 1 cent find and I did not get it for one cent.
Call corporate customer care. Tell them the item rang up as a penny, and they're not selling it to you for a penny.
1 (800) 466-3337
Corporate policy is they have to sell it to you for a penny.
After you get it for a penny, ship it to me. lol
They will ask you what the item is, which store you are at, and what happened. Then they will place you on hold while they call the manager there. 5 to 10 minutes later, you'll be walking out with it for a penny.
On the automated phone menu, you have to get to the one about "positive or negative store experience"
Another option is just buy it for the $25.03, then call corporate and complain about the situation afterwards. I did this once, and they sent me a gift card for the whole the whole cost.
yea, you gotta go through I think 3 levels on the phone menu. "customer care" is right
I called corporate and complain, they called the store MOD. I was told to take the receipt back and they would fix it. I will let everyone know how it turns outs. This is good and bad, I think I will get it for 1 cents, but now the store knows me and knows I am looking for 1 cent deals.
