Some of the higher median income levels in the whole country and we're trying to buy items for pennies.

Does that make us really cheap or just really smart?

I grew up in CT, I don't wish to return. Now that I've been around the country, no one else is as stressed and stretched thin than people in CT.

Not sure how my parents did it, but my mortgage payments are about 15% of gross household income. Gives me tons of other things to do with my money besides paying a bank.

Thanks for the heads up on the Echo chainsaw guys. Found one at my local store (Olive Branch, MS) at the $65 price. Guy who helped me get it down couldn't believe the price. It wasn't there last week, makes me wonder if someone had it hidden behind other boxes (it had a clearance sticker on it at $195) waiting for it to drop further.

I hear you, I hate it here too but we have family here, my kids like it here, etc.

Ill stay until I cant feasibly stay anymore...then the wife and kids wont have a choice (unless they wanna stay here by themselves!)

Just a FYI for any of you that picked up the Delta Addison kitchen faucets back in March/April on clearance. Mine started turning on for no reason at all. I Googled it and apparently there is a known issue with the touchless solenoids going bad and short circuiting. If you contact Delta they will send you out a replacement solenoid for free under warranty.

Guys,

Found the same yellow clearance sticker for the grill in a Virginia store today (7 Corners Store for those in the area). It was located on the MET printer cart. Checked a couple of the local HD's on my rounds today and didn't see one Charbroil grill at any of the stores - checked both inside and outside in the garden centers - neck hurts from looking up into the rafters. Believe that they leave these stickers out just as "teasers".
