Any updates on the Echo 330 chainsaw status? I called Rochester and they said $65.03. I called Newington and the guy said $30??? I don't think he knew what he was talking about.
I would try tomorrow.

Saw still 65.03 in Biddeford. On another note!

Only charged for one piece. They got it down no questions asked and no scanning. Took it to SCO and she scanned it and saw the penny. Called a few people. Only talked for 20 sec or so, rang one up and said I was good to go. Paid for that one and said but that's only one, it probably doesn't really matter much does it and she said nope you are all set.
Loaded it myself as I figured I didn't really pay for help...

Get a real truck with a 8ft bed if you do.I need a truck
I need a truck
I have a truck and 2 of the 41" toolboxes just looked WAAAAY too unsafe (the last straw was realizing the top box was not fastened to the bottom box in any way other than the plastic wrap)
For the 20 bux it cost, renting the van from HD was not a bad alternative. I probably could have fit 4 41" toolbox sets in it!
You need some straps.

They put the pallet right on my truck before I realized the tops werent fastened to the bottoms. It would have been a PITA to try and get straps through the bottom of the pallet to secure the tops to the bottoms.
I did have straps to hold them down to the corners of my truck bed, but with the height of the pallet the top of the bottom box actually cleared my truck cab....the tops were on top of that so even higher. It actually looked comical:![]()
If I didnt have to take 2 or had an 8' bed (or something a full 4' wide at the wheel wells, or even something with extra cargo hooks along the rails) it would have been fine but I don't have a truck with any of those goodies.
Lol that is pretty funny.

with 2 in the master. So I've got an extra for a friend. I'm going to try my luck with some of the Milwaukee stuff, New to the HD deals but I'll try my luck. I need to pick up one of those m12 drill drive kits but moneys a bit tight right now. Hope to find the combo kit all ready listed but don't have high hopes.
Does anyone know what is included in the milwaukee 2407-22 Kit? Going by some ads I've seen on google for HD its the same kit with a plastic case vs the bag Not sure if its on clearance though since online it still shows $99.00. Some ads for Hd list is as "The M12 power tool kit includes M12 2407 3/8-inch drill/driver, (2) M12 RedLithium batteries, (1) M12 Lithium-Ion battery charger, belt clip, carrying case and includes a bonus Milwaukee 2462-20 M12 Cordless 1/4-inch Hex Impact Driver Tool New (Bare Tool)
but Milwaukee's and some hd sites don't include the 2462-20 bare tool under that kit number?
Went to HD and saw these dropped. They are the wired version. The battery ones have been at this price for a few days now.
The system showed 7 in stock but the employee couldn't find them. They are usually kept at the customer service desk and only the piece of cardboard is on the shelf. He let me back there to look for them...I like when they actually let you see there's nothing there instead of them giving a glance and saying nope. So I headed over to the clearance section in lighting and looked for the sku. There they were!! The two card board boxes were up high so I grabbed the yellow ladder and brought them down. There were 3 in one and 4 in the other. I had 6 detectors to swap at homewith 2 in the master. So I've got an extra for a friend.
Got home and installed then right away. No problems at all hooking them up. Check the pix.
Edit: If anyone can pleeeeeeease tell me how to keep my pictures from flipping sideways after I upload them I'd greatly appreciate it.
The 2407-22 kit that was sort of on clearance included the 3/8" drill/driver and a free bluetooth speaker. Judging from the box when I saw it, I don't believe it came with a hard case, it was a smaller box. Maybe it comes with the contractor bag. With the xxxx-22 designation, it should come with 2 batteries and a charger.
Last price I saw for those guys was $89, but I believe it may have dropped below that in some regions ($75 maybe?).
It's a 78, so still a bus, not quite into the Vanagon era. Full factory Westaflia camper kit and 105k original miles.
So, some more details on my haul over the weekend. Some things to note, this is the result of a 300 mile drive, 13 or so locations, 2 days, and many many hours. It takes times to find the deals. I had a long drive to make over the weekend without the family so I decided to just take my time.
Day 1
1st Location: Roseville, CA (North Sunrise)
-Nothing found
2nd Location: Rockling, CA
-Nothing found, but I did score 3 of the Echo CS-330T's a week earlier.
3rd Location: Lincoln, CA
-Found 2 of the Ariston GL4S water heaters at $6x.03.
4th Location: Woodland, CA
-Found a display model pressure washer and Echo PB-500T gas blower for $29 and $80.03 respectively. Plus 10% off since they were both missing some parts. Also grabbed 2 more water heaters.
5th Location: Vacaville, CA
-Found several water heaters, but left them on the shelf. Not sure how these will do for resale, didn't have a ton of room left in the car, and they seem to be plentiful.
6th Location: Fairfield, CA
-6 water heaters on shelf, but I left them all behind. Saw in the system that the Napa HD was listing 6 pressure washers in inventory. Good, that was my next stop anyways.
7th Location: Napa, CA
-9 pressure washers, all new in box, all $29. This took about an hour to get someone to get them all down, and for the manager to agree to sell them to me. At first he said I could only have 2 since it must be a pricing error, but I insisted and one of his employees told him he couldn't not sell them to me. He went back to research the price, learned that it was his mistake for not pulling them from top stock and selling them last week when they were $150 and said "have a good night". Managed to squeeze 3 into the car with everything else and the remaining 6 on the roof rack (see pic). All of the employees said I made their day and they only ever hear about this sort of thing.
8th Location (Last stop of the night): Rohnert Park, CA
-Nothing found ... at first
It was now closing time, so I drove the rest of the way to my cabin at the Russian River.
Day 2
Start the day by unloading the 6 car top pressure washers to make room for any future buys along my way.
9th Location: Healdsburg, CA
-Nothing found, but I noticed in the computer that the Rohnert Park HD showed 16 Milwaukee combo kits for sale, must have missed those the day before. Oh well, it's on my way again today, so I'll stop back.
10th Location: Santa Rosa, CA
-Nothing found.
11th Location (8th Location revisited): Rohnert Park, CA
-Looked for the Milwaukee kits, but wasn't having much luck. Asked to tools buys and they showed me the new version and said their inventor must be wrong. As we're talking I look up into the top stock and see a huge Milwaukee section with the SKU I'm looking for on a bunch of the boxes - SCORE. I tell them, that's the one I want, so they pull a ladder over to pull one down. I proceed to tell them, they misunderstood, I will take them all. So, they go get one of the electric lifts. They only manage to find 15, I guess I'll have to settle. The tool manager walks me to check-out himself to make sure I don't have any issues, thanks me profusely, and sends me on my way. Luckily these are small, so they can fit around the other large boxes in my car.
Then, I took a break. Hit the tracks at Golden Gate Fields with some friends and bet on some ponies.
12th Location: San Pablo, CA
-After much searching found one of the $180 Ridgid dual bevel compound miter saws. Not a killer deal, but still almost 50% off.
13th Location: Hercules, CA
-Found 2 more of the Ridgid saws. Got 10% off each since one had some box damage and the other was the display. Also found two of the B&D trimmer combo kits for $25.03.
14th and final Location: Martinez, CA
-Found a display model pressure washer. Missing a couple parts, but overall looks nice. For $29, why not.
Then I drove 100+ miles home with my car packed to the gills and 4 saws and a pressure washer strapped to the top.
