Visited a couple of stores in a neighboring town today. Came out pretty good. A penny each.

The number is 1-800-466-3337 then 7 then 1. Make sure you have the sku and don't mention its a penny deal. I used the term Deep Clearance Item.

Just want to say thanks, I managed to get one of the Milwaukee m12 kits. We drove down 95 from NJ to FL for a trip so I hit a few stores looking for it. I Didn't check for any other deals but I will on the ride back since I won't be on as bad of a schedule. Anyway Baltimore MD has two stores showing stock on the 2481-22 kit. The one on eastern ave showed 5 and another store near it listed 2, but I had no luck finding them in either, Lazy clerks didn't even want to check the top stock. Plus that store was packed with Milwaukee tools at the top on the 4th shelves in 3 bays, with more in an isle. If anyone is local maybe they will have some luck with more time to waste then I had today. If you find all of them save me one for the heads up, lol I'll cover the cost of it.

I stopped in a store in NC right off 95 since I was getting gas and there was an HD across the street, showed no stock but they had a few of those dewalt 36" tool boxes if anyone is still looking for them, I can't remember the exit though.

Hit a store in Florence SC and found the last one in stock right on edge of the top shelf so I got one for $27 out the door. Was hoping to find another for my brother but I guess I'll check on the way back. Maybe check for other stuff I could use to.

today...I went to three stores and got nothing...close but no cigar...
one store had char broil BBQ grill and it came out to penny...but CSR said no...Manager wanted to charge me last clearance price of $72.... I said no and gave them spill about corporate policy of penny sale items should be honored...He saids never heard of it and no deal at store... I didn;t push it to corporate phone call as he's pretty good guy and they did let me have the homelite pressure washer last time and I might be using his store again....so can't piss him off too much...
Besides he took off the tags and wheeled it off...said shouldn't be on floor and going back to vendor....so I assume they are going to smash it.....besides I really wasn;t into BBQ grill that much..

here is pic of it and sku ##....its ringing up penny if you find it and feel like fighting for it....go for it...

The home depot I bought my shed at a couple pages back had a chainsaw listed at 88.03 but 0 at there store but 2 at another store, so I go to the second home depot to try to purchase it and it rings up full price. I tell them, the computer said another price and showed them a picture of the price with the sku. They refused to sell it to me at that price. Would calling corporate and complaining be able to get me the chainsaw at the discounted price?

No, and that is borderline fraudulent IMO. The picture you showed them is not of the store you were at.

What you can do (which is still greasy but...) is buy it for full price at the store that has stock, and return/rebuy at the clearance store. The clearance store may not let you do that either, depends on the cashier and mood of the MOD.

Not all stores clearance the same items at the same time, so corporate would not do anything for you.

also in addition to what 06 said, you can't get another store's price from the price check app. it may show if the other store has it in stock (which is usually very inaccurate), but it won't show you their price. you have to go to that store and look it up again to get their price.

What they said above. This question is being asked a lot now.

I guess more mgrs are getting pissed with this issue now too.

How did you try to ring it up?

Just a reminder for anyone who's sending in receipts for the 11% price match rebate..

If you're trying to get missing parts for a display model purchased (blower tubes, etc), you might want to keep your receipt for warranty purposes. I have 3 display models now that need parts.

Bought about $200 worth of nest smoke detectors for the house and I saw the rebate...turns out I washed my pants with the receipt in them :lol_hitti

I wonder if Echo will laugh at a parts claim with a penny receipt...

lol I thought the same thing.. but in reality the price has nothing to do with the warranty. i'm just hoping they don't tell me it's Home Depot's problem about the missing parts, which really it should be Home Depot's problem

Lol @ the tubes costing more than the machine. I faxed in my receipt I think Wednesday or Thursday and was told I'd receive my parts within 5-7 days. So maybe in a couple days I'll get it.

On the other hand, I got a toro blower for free since I had to make that 800 call. I don't even have a penny receipt. It's also missing the tubes. I looked up the parts list and turns out its also missing a bag? Blower/Vac?
Anyone dewalt with toro?

faxed your receipt to who, Echo or HD?

I was told to bring the blowers/chainsaw to HD tool rental. They want an $18 deposit. Still seems stupid to me since they don't have to inspect them just to order missing parts. I have all of the part numbers.

I think if you see any of the Charbroil TRU (somehow stands for infrared) they will either be a penny or very low.

I found an old door opener and they had made it a late model sku so it was reg price.

Dose HD change the SKU, package or boxes on any items? So they could just reincorporate them back into stock. Or is this just me thinking to much? It would not take much for them to do.

Seems like it would be very simple to tie old UPCs to new SKUs once items drop penny and are replaced with something new. I am honestly surprised they don't do this. I mean, more times than not, how many items are left, a couple, it's not like there are dozens of the "old" item left. 9/10, the old items is practically identical to the new item anyway.

Let me stop given them (HD) ideas, I know they are reading this. LOL

I got the package from Echo on Friday for the 330T. It has the oil mixture, tool, manuals, oil cap, and new catalog.

I haven't tried to fire it up yet, but the only other thing I notice that's missing is the nut on this bolt. Do I need it? Should I just buy it at HD, or ask Echo for it?

I bought an display model, with the same nut missing. I went to HD and bought it. Only could find a pack of 5 cost $1.80.

Just go to the hardware store and buy a nut IMO.

So how did you go about getting these missing parts? Did you contact Echo directly? Also, was your chainsaw a penny?

I just got off live chat with Echo, and they repeated that they were not responsible for the items. They said that I would have to go though Home Depot, and because the item was purchased for $.01, I would have to buy the item. I questioned why the price had anything to do with warranty status, or replacement of missing parts, to which she didn't reply. But I have to agree, Home Depot sold it with missing parts, not Echo.

I'm good with buying some of the smaller parts, such as a thumbscrew and air filter for the chainsaw, but I haven't priced out the complete blower tubes assembly yet.

Store display in socal.. Only one there or in District. Tag was dated 12/2014
I sure it was gone moment I left. I wasn't that motivated you fight the penny deal there as I have gotten good deals there and don't want to create scene. Also wasn't that interested in the BBQ grill. Was hoping tag and pic would help others.

I emailed them, told them what the missing parts were (just the oil cap and tool, manuals). They asked me to scan a receipt (which I crossed out the credit card info and price) and they said ok. I did pay $65 for mine, but it was crossed out. I have a feeling they have gotten a lot of calls due the HD deals so maybe they shut it down.

I'll have to try that again when I get home. I just don't want to get the run-around from HD saying "you bought it from X store, bring it to them". I have 3 things missing parts from 3 different stores, and not all of those stores have a tool rental.

If anyone is looking for an Umbrella for their patio, or a Fire Pit, I came across a couple in my searches this weekend. Add it to your list of queries next time your at the store.

I like the drawer layout on the old 52" better than on the new ones.

Strange the 41" and 52" are both 498.00
