Going try it for 75.03.

They are rolling out tons of Husky 52" boxes to front of the store as I type

The reviews are pretty good. The Echo cordless might be a bit better (since Echo, etc) but the Ego one seems easier to find.

Havent found a store near me that has the Echo on clearance but they all have the Ego at 75.03 right now.

Are you guys using the app to scan the yellow tags and do they show the discounted price of 0.01?

If anyone needs a decent flashlight the Defiant Tactical LED was on clearance for $5.03 in my area yesterday. Snagged one and for the price it's a great light. My only complaint is that it doesn't remember the setting you had it on prior to turning off, so if you had it on bright, you have to click the on/off button a couple times to get back to bright as it cycles through the options of flash, dim, etc.

DEFIANT ARMORMAX TACTICAL FLASHLIGHT

Not as **** as a $100 52" tool chest, but figured I'd mention it LOL

I put up the LED security light. All seems good so far. Only weird thing I thought was that it didn't come with a foam/rubber to seal it to the j-block or whatever you are mounting it to like the old one had. Instead, they wanted you to silicone around it after mounting...

I guess, if you prefer the 2nd grade marker box label look.

I could get over that, but in a dirty hands/working on something environment, I figured the dry erase would get smudged or erased while opening and closing the drawers.

Besides, *I* cant even read my own writing!

They do do this, and often. Ryobi stuff, the M18 4.0 starter kit off the top of my head. Sometimes they do it right away, sometimes later, and sometimes never, but it is common practice.

True, many of the old Blue Ryobi stuff got linked to the newer green ones.

Not to be obnoxious. But if you don't know what that nut does, you probably shouldn't be running it. Especially since its a top handle arborist saw.

Haha someone was bold enough to say it. I thought it in my head but refrained.

I like the drawer layout on the old 52" better than on the new ones.

Strange the 41" and 52" are both 498.00

That's what I thought at first but the New 52" lay out is the same except the large door at the bottom which I thought I wouldn't like until I saw it in person, I can fit alot of large items in there. I already have a 40" husky and two 26's lower units. I have plenty of small thin drawers.

Still hoping my stores with the Timber Wolf saws actually clearance them out. Plenty around here have them but they are still full price.

And the 58V cordless too, while they're at it.

Yes, I am hoping they clearance them too. On homedepot.com they are listed as "Online Only" (the 590's anyway)

This has been my experience. The only items I see regularly marked down at my local HD are used. I just got back from there a few hours ago. All the new 590s were still regular price.

Yep, same here. The thing is, the used stuff is almost as much as the new stuff. Doesn't make much sense to me.

You both may be right...
I knew it held that on, but didn't know if I needed both on there...now I know.

I am being quite serious. This wasn't intended to be a trolling comment.

Not only do those nuts "just" hold the bar on, but they also are important to being sure the chain remains tensioned. That is pretty basic user level adjustment required for proper operation of any chain saw, not service or factory tech type of maintenance.

Top handle arborist saws are not for the inexperienced. The top handle provides little leverage to counteract kickback and also allows 1 handed operation, which can reduce the usability of the chain brake. I honestly wonder if HD is discontinuing carry the 330T because top handle saws really should not be purchased by your typical homeowner.

Thanks, I may end up selling it or returning it. Wanted to have one just to keep in the shed for any limbs that fall, etc...but now you have me worried! Thought for $65 why not, but not if I'm going to hurt myself.

If you are careful you won't hurt yourself IMO. Kickbacks shouldn't be too bad. It's not like this saw is made to cut down big trees, should be fine for limbs and small trees.

Like I said, just be careful and get used to it. I used min yesterday for 30 min or so and it was great. Worked awesome for small trees and limbs.

If you want to sell it, let me know and I'll give you what you paid for it.

I cut down a small (6-8") tree in my front yard a couple of weeks ago and it did just fine. I probably wouldn't fell anything much larger than what I did just because I don't want to risk having the tree falling on me! But for cutting up fallen limbs and cleaning up underbrush it should work great.

Just take the time to read the manual, take your time, and don't put yourself in a situation where the saw could kick back on you.

Used the email form on the "contact us" page on the HD website. Told them the whole story, gave them receipt numbers, chainsaw/blower model numbers and serial numbers, and missing Echo part numbers (which I got off the Echo site). Just got this response:

Good Afternoon Mr. Xxxxx,

I hope you're having a great day!

I am so sorry to hear that you're missing parts for your blowers and chainsaw. I know this must be very frustrating. I will partner with the manufacturer, Echo, and your local Home Depot store to see what we can do for you. I will follow up with you by Wednesday, 11/4.

Your Home Depot Customer Care case number is 0038xxxx.

Have a great day!

Thank you for contacting the Home Depot Customer Care!

Sincerely,

Warren A. Ray

This is what I sent them:

Over the past few days, I purchased 3 Echo products, one chainsaw and 2
backpack blowers. All 3 were display models, and all 3 are missing
parts. I've been getting the run-around about getting these missing
parts replaced. If I would have known it would be this much of a hassle
to get missing parts, I would have never bothered buying them.

I've been told to contact Echo directly, as the parts should be covered
by warranty. Echo tells me it's Home Depot's problem since they sold
the products with missing parts. The local Home Depot wants to charge
me $18 "diagnostics fee" per item just to look at them, when they don't
need diagnostics.

I have all of the missing part numbers already. Is there any way you
could have these Echo parts ordered for me?
