You walk in. Pick out item. Go to check out. Give said coupon to clerk. She either looks completely lost and calls Mgr over or says we don't match hf coupons or she gives you the 20% off.

If Mgr is called over 90% of the time he will say we don't match those but sometimes they do.

It is best to ask while your checking out at stores around you if they take them and remember the answers.

Lowes and HD I ask always refuse to honor it.

I am posting here because many of you understand all options when it comes to HD discounts.

In the next week, I plan to purchase a snowblower from Home Deopt's website. Are there any coupons I should be aware of? Thanks in advance for any info you may have.

If you're gonna buy from the website, your best bet is to get the online chat to pop up and ask the chat rep for 10% off. Be persistent and tell him you can get a better deal elsewhere.

Meanwhile, shop around online and see if whatever model you are buying is sold cheaper elsewhere. If it is, ask for price match plus 10%

After a ton of searching, I was finally able to score a display model CS330-T! I took it to customer service, asked to speak to the store manager, explained that it was discontinued and would ring up a penny. After looking on the computer for a few minutes, he said that it was my lucky day and that I could have it for free.

It's missing the chain, air filter and cover, oil mixture, spark plug tool, and tip guard. But I can't really complain considering it was free.

Depends on the store. The one I visit the most has a harbor freight across the street, a Lowes next door about a block down and 2 Menards within a 5 mile radius. They've given me the 20%. However I try to get a coupon out of hot rod or carcraft magazine. They always have a barcode and sometimes the local coupon mailer has them and the barcode is above the excluded items disclaimer so i cut that off so they cant use it against me.

Only thing I bought was a welding magnet down to $1.42. What a weird price. No chainsaws or blowers around here on sale. One area store did not have a chainsaw at all.

My home depot send to be on top of penny items. I only ever find them at the habitat for humanity reuse store for about 40% of retail... Would be better to buy at .03 level.

I bought this makita 12v combo kit yesterday. I needed a smaller drill to install a custom kitchen cabinet I built. This fit the bill perfectly for $99. I forgot to try to use a HF 20% off coupon. I'll try to use one this week.

I stopped at Home Depot and they applied the 20% off harbor freight coupon for me.$84.23 total is a great deal in my eyes.

I picked up the DeWalt box on BF... the Milwaukee was the better box between the two (slightly thicker steel, slightly better drawer slides)... but the DeWalt was 8" wider and damaged by a forklift, so I negotiated it down to the same price as the Milwaukee. Who sees the back of a tool chest anyways.

Also... Found some DeWalt palm sanders that are clearanced at $64.00 (from *0-something). Price was last updated in August. I checked and they still ring at $64, but after 3 months I would expect them to drop to final clearance any day now.

Power tools are completely different animals. They mark them down depending on origination, quantity, and sales numbers. I have been watching the Ryobi scroll saws for at least 3 months and they have come down from 100 to 90 to 80 and that's it.

Whats the sku # for that one? I spotted an open box or display saw on the top shelf at a HD I stopped at the other day.

Cub Cadet tillers are a hundred off. Don't see those lasting long enough to get real cheap.

Anybody having any luck getting HD (online) to apply the 10% Lowe's coupon movers coupon for sale items? I purchased a Dewalt kit yesterday that was a special buy, tried online chat 3 times to get them to apply the 10% coupon and they said I can either have the special buy price or full price minus the 10% coupon.

I've had no problem getting them to apply the coupon in-store, but maybe the online policy has changed?

Are all of the CS-590 saws clearance priced? I know where one is but didn't have time today to scan it at the SCO.

I will try to get by there this week. I already have a Stihl but if I get this cheap enough it would be ok for a second saw
