Yeah we could probably reference last year's info to know almost exactly when they'll drop again. Seems they went $75.04 and then $50.02? Or was it a .06 and .03? I thought there may have been a $25.02 near the end also, but just can't remember.

I don't know why I care, I don't own any 18V Ryobi LOL

Today I finally bit on one of those Ryobi 40v trimmers for $40. I got shot down by the SCO ******* a $.01 Belkin power strip thing, but I didn't argue too much because she took my $10 off Northern coupon. I also got some Schlage door handle sets for around $8 (non locking).

Uh, if you buy one you gotta buy two! It's a $40 second battery! :D

Honestly Im not sure...I could swear they went 75.04 then 50.something. But I also could swear at the end I got a price adjustment to 25.03

Either way, look for them again! Although I dont think they will be that prevalent this year.......I know for sure I remember a metric tonne of packages of those batteries hanging around the stores last year. Not nearly as many this year.

EGO 56V cordless string trimmer kit (model ST1501-S, sku 1001214213) is now $55.03

For some reason the chainsaw went back to full price around me....not sure if that means the rumored demise of EGO at HD is just a rumor or what.

I found another 500H display model. Manager wouldn't sell it today, but he took my number and said he'd call Monday to let me know if he'll sell it and how much he'll sell it for(he said definitely not a penny). We'll see what happens, I'm not holding my breath.

Same here.. Found 2 pb500t with all the blower tubes,, all complete. Assistant manager said oh no, store use, can't sell when it came up penny. Next day, call store manager about it, she said will sell for last clearance price, $80 each.. I say $80 for both,, she said okay, come and get it. Generic sku $80 in and out.. Started one in parking lot, 2 pulls and it runs fine.
I couldn't fight penny fight, because it's in pallet on rafters and no sku ##, plus calling HD Corp is a pita hassle I don't need, sometimes end up with nothing.

If I can get it for $50 or less I'll buy it. It has some missing parts so hopefully I can use that to get the price down.

Would it make sense to buy the Ryobi batteries now and then get the price adjusted within 90 days if/when they go down in price? My local store still has 38 packs in stock so they probably will go on clearance. Will they still offer a price adjustment if they sell out?

I have a Ryobi cordless miter saw and I have two of the compact lithium batteries. I would like to have two of the larger batteries, but probably not worth more than $50 to me. My main cordless tools are Makita, but not spending $500 on the Makita cordless miter saw.

I have been told the timeframe is 30 days by Home Depots customer service. I couldn't find it stated on the site so I asked in chat. Was there a place the 90 days is stated?

Return policy is 90 days whether purchased online or in store. The policy is right on the website and also printed on your receipt.

http://www.homedepot.com/c/Return_Policy

The price match policy isn't dated, so most likely refers to the price at time of purchase. That's why stores will do a return and rebuy if you ask about a lower price after purchase.

Got it. Didn't think about the return rebuy process.

I just read something on the Internet and not on the Home Depot site about price match being the same 90 days as returns. The Internet is never wrong of course.

People have reported being burned trying to return and re-buy items at HD even within 90 days. Sometimes they have been told they can't re-buy an item they just returned 30 seconds ago. The POS system may say the item can't be sold any longer for whatever reason.

You cheapskate..... I only count $.09 unless you guys pay tax on that amount up north. You might need to come off another one of those clamps, or nozzles to make up the difference (Although I would be glad to be the recepient of the items above - as you said it is the aggregate amount that matters).
