A while ago Home Depot used to have 20% off an item (Lowes did the same) using a moving coupon you could pickup at the post office.

I'm looking to purchase a 17cuft cart for my lawn tractor and was wondering if anyone knows if any such coupon still exists out there. 10-20% off a $400 item is nothing to sneeze at.

If you have a HD charge account they send out a coupon once or twice a year. Sometimes during the year HD has a promo (discount) for opening a charge account.

They sell them on EBay, too. Make sure, though, there's not a restriction on what you are buying, and also, strangely, you can't use coupons when paying with a Home Depot credit card.

Sign up for Home Depots Garden Club email list. They send you a coupon every month for lawn and garden department. I would assume the lawn cart would be in this category.

Haven't seen a 20% off coupon from HD in the past 5-6 yrs. Sign up for pro account and they always send out $20-off $200 sometimes $10 off $100

Garden is $5 off $50 or $10 off $100

You can also just try your charm and depending on their mood, you might get a better deal then 20% off.

Worse they can say is no, try again another day or different store.
