Home Depot Hardware Cabinets

I just bought ten of these for $250. Seller says they were removed from Home Depot. Nice four-drawer cabinets with full extension ball-bearing slides. There were only 8 of the plastic holders/separators/inserts that fit inside the drawers. I will be storing hardware and tools in them. Probably half-and-half.

Does anyone know who is the manufacturer? I'd like to investigate the possibility getting more holder/separators/inserts. I probably need a dozen more.

TIA
Paul

Even having worked for Home Depot in the past, I couldn't tell ya who supplied them. Crown Bolt is the hardware company all the fastners came from. Maybe they manufactured the drawers?

I had forgotten that the seller did say that Crown Bolt supplied the fasteners. Thanks. I'll see if Crown Bolt pops up on an Internet search before Monday. I may also take a run to Home Depot to see if they can tell me anything about the units themselves. My local store replaced their cabinets within the last six months.

I couldn't see any markings on mine, but I was just looking to unload them into my garage before it heated up outside. May be something inside the drawers.

Ten for 250? Geez must be nice

They are sweeeeet. I was real lucky that he posted early on Saturday morning instead of during the week. My best deals have come from early morning, weekend postings on CL.

I forgot to mention that they are powder-coated. And this should take care of the storage problem I've been having regarding hardware and tools. I currently have a hodgepodge of plastic, cardboard, and beat up containers that I had picked up for next to nothing.

First off, let me say you ****!

10 of these for $250? Wow...

Second, I did a whole hell of a lot of research a few weeks back to find out who made these as they were the exact thing I wanted for my own hardware storage. They're in both Lowe's and Home Depot here where I live and not unique to one company's hardware. The company that makes these is Craftline, part of Platt & Labonia... They are manufactured back in Connecticut and the cost to ship them to California almost doubled the price.

Here's their website:

You can also find them on ebay by searching for Craftline...

Really, that is an incredible find and congrats!

Definetly some suckage going on here. If the cost of the dividers is prohibitive, I'd probably try to fab some up myself out of sheet metal. It'd be a great winter project.

I got one of those last year for $20. They are excellent, I bolted it under my workbench and store some tools in it. BTW, if installed level the drawers are supposed to be self closing. That can be a plus (or a minus!)

I have the feeling I'll be creating something.

I have leveled mine. I think I like the self-closing feature. Time will tell.
