Just got back from home depot and they are running a special till August 28th.

If you buy the m12 hackzall or 3/8" hammer drill kit with battery you get a free 1/4" impact, right angle drill, or multi tool. The hackzall was $129 normal price the hammer drill was $10X.99 on sale/clearance.

Also it looks like Milwaukee came out with a new 3/8" hammer drill and 1/4" impact. These were NOT the Fuel line but had a different casing and darker anodized aluminum, I'm not exactly sure what is up with these unless Milwaukee wants to keep the Fuel line at a premium price and still have some cheaper options.

WOW I got the new M12 1/4 impact and love it. Lots of power and great on battery life with the brush-less motor. Paid $129 I think.

Damn I'm glad I'm not the only one who notices these things. I saw a 2407-22 3/8" drill and was trying to figure out what the difference is from the "old" 2410-22. It's NOT even the hammer drill model, just looks like a "new" version of the 2410, but aside from a belt clip and different color scheme I can't figure out why.

and yeah, I'm also amazed they're trying to update the brushed tools when Fuel is the new game in town.

My HD also seemingly got rid of all their M12 radios except the display model. I've been looking for a good deal on an M12 radio and was trying to figure out if they were clearancing them, but I never saw them appear in the clearance section and I check OFTEN. I asked an employee last night but that went nowhere (shocking I know).

Yeah, I picked up the Hackzall, and got the right angle drill free. Turned in a couple of gift cards I found while digging thru stuff, and I got the two tools, one battery, a charger, and a bag for $29!

The deal is not at my Home Depot. Was just there, after I read this.

You might try bringing the items you want up to the register and seeing if it works. My HD only had 1 little crappy sign they printed out stuck to the endcap with a single piece of tape.

On another note, I guess there is no point on waiting for the Fuel prices to drop if they are going to maintain the antiquated line of m12. I can't imagine brushless motors being that much more expensive that they wouldn't just focus on that. Oh well.

I have no idea why the links stopped working, I still see the kits on the website. You will just have to search it yourself if you want one. Good luck.

I have quite a few M12 tools. The tools that were mentioned above I find the following--
Hackzall- OK. It has a place but the short stroke can be a problem
Right angle drill- I don't use it often but you get used to it. Good power.
Multitool- Never had one but since I now do it does work great for certain jobs.
1/4" impact driver- AWESOME! Period.
No drill yet- :(
No FUEL yet either. :(

I saw this in store on Wednesday. The Milwaukee rep was even there checking inventory. I'm gonna go sometime this weekend and get in on it...

I wonder if HD pulled these from the website?

When I search I can see the packaged but when I click on them I get an apache error message.
