Thanks! I keep skipping out on this deal because my money has been ******* in buying other tools and other projects. Was about to pay full price on the fuel hex impact, but now, I get a free stick light!

I found the same prices at CPO, but no tax at the CPO website, so it saved me $12

Of course your state may require that all online purchases be reported on your tax forms in order to collect sales tax due....

CPO didn't have the offer I got yesterday in store, in fact HD Online doesn't have the best deals like in store. I picked up an M12 Hackzall kit for $99 and got a free right angle drill. Awesome deals at HD!

HD is now showing the 2438 polisher (supposed to have just hit the market 8/1) but not including it in the free tool promo. Bummer.

Just picked up the 3/8 drill kit in store for $99, got the 1/4 impact driver for free.

Is any of that M12 Fuel, or just the standard M12 line?

Most states have a law that says you are supposed to report use tax on your tax return... but I have never heard of any of them that enforce it. The cost to enforce heavily outweighs the benefit to the state.

On a side note, I ordered over the phone and got 10% off. I simply asked if they would do it, since Lowe's has a policy that they can beat HD by 10%. I do this anytime I order something online at HD and never have any issues. They don't have to know that Lowe's doesn't carry Milwaukee. Also, by ordering a giftcard from one of those gift card websites, I was able to save an additional 11% off by buying at HD. Great deal!

The only fuel as part of the in store is the $169 fuel M12 impact driver kit to purchase and get a free tool, there are no fuel freebies though.

Link in OP has 6 pages to scroll thru, some are fuel.

The deals that they were mentioning are not on the website. It looks like the stores are mixing 2 different promos to make their kits for $99. Online, these kits they mentions are $129 with a free tool. Hopefully my store is offering a smiliar deal.

I would have loved it if the 3/8 cordless ratchet kit would have been available. Apparently home depot does not carry them as a kit and only as a "tool only" I ended up buying it from cpo. Sadly it did not qualify for the free battery, but I needed for this week.

I knew this promo was coming up from chatting with a Milwaukee rep at HD last month and was looking forward to it. I was hoping there would be a ratchet in the mix as well but no dice.

i ordered the 1/4 fuel impact driver from CPO that qualifys for the bare tool on July 21'st, that's only 2 weeks ago. I could return it and reorder it to get the free bare tool. Do you guys think that i should be eligible for it without having to return the tool?? I called the cpo support line and they didnt think so. Just curious how you guys feel about it

thanks

Bought the 3/8 drill/driver for $99 and got the hex impact free. Other free options included a 4 amp/hr battery, right angle drill, scope, and another I can't recall. I believe the clerk said today (8/4) is the final day for the special. Also, it take some patience to get the correct price although everyone agreed the deal is legitimate.

Yep, bought a Milwaukee inspection scope with the whip attached to the back, straight out the back.... Did not like it, as I could not detach my own head from my shoulders to keep the screen in sight when working in close quarters..

Dewalt makes a scope with a detachable screen.. My choice for this reason

The scope and drill are not free items in stores (atleast according to the corporate signage in my store). They are options that you can buy to get a free item. The other free items is the 1/4" hex impact and the oscillating tool. I also confirmed that this deal is going through 9/3/14.

My local store wasn't even advertising this and when I asked, the associate didn't know there was a promo going on.

True, it's a Hackzall and a non-fuel impact 1/4" hex driver for $99. Still a great deal.

link to that?

Here it is LINK

I made the mistake of buying it online with the free multitool for 129, called HD today and they said they can't refund the difference, and to just return it to the store and get a refund.

Doing that tomorrow when it arrives, then buying the same kit, with a slightly different Sku# for 99 bucks. Worth the trip for the 30 bucks I'll save. Just a little hassle.

Did you get a free tool with it for 129? Link is hackzall only. You can get some nice bonuses in store.

gah, these promos never include the tools I'm looking for.

Wish they would include the dremel tool as one of the possible free tools, or the screwdriver as one of the qualifying kits.

They had the screwdriver, radio, battery, and charger on sale for $99 a few months ago.
