I really don't pay much attention to facebook ads but a home depot one caught my eye. Two Ridgid R4514 10" table saw with stand for 699$, 350$ each & in store they are 549$. Seems like a good deal for a decent saw but I don't need two but may get them & sell one. If anyone close need one we could split it, just throwing it out there.

For what it’s worth, I have seen that deal from time to time. Almost jumped on it myself About a year ago

With winter coming around…. My store had ethanol shield marked down but they only had one showing in stock. Other store had availability. Currently $6.50. Look for local in store clearance pricing near the list price. Click on that and it will show the in store stock level and price but you can’t order online and pick up, must go to store to purchase

Watch what you buy at Home Depot on their deal of the day emails.
I bought a 10Ft cantilever umbrella back around memorial day. It shipped to the store and i curbsided it. Put it together and noticed the lock didnt hold it up the pole. Not big deal has a two year warrenty so HD put me in touch with the manufacture and I sent videos to the manufature and been dealing with them since. Fast forward to yesterday 10-17, they claim since HD put 350 of them on the special deal the manufacture is considering it as a 'as is closeout". Meaning it didnt work when i bought it. They have no more to send me for replacement as they where discontinued in 2022. There are no parts available. They offered me this morning $186.00 partial refund. Its a $899 umbrella and HD had it on buy of the day for $345 and nothing was mentioned about being a close out or discontinued item. It was in their daily emails. When i received the email yesterday I got back ahold of HD and had to go to customer retention dept , it was escalated ,and they had me take it back to the store. Wound up getting a full refund from HD even though the return window closed. The umbrella was only opened up 3 times , an was basically brand new. If the wind blew it slid back closed. HD took a copy of the email the manufacture sent to me as they didnt know it was discontinued. In the end Home Depot did make it good but it still doesnt set right.

The discontinued part doesn’t surprise me at all. I haven’t been big on HD deals for a while, but when I was I’d often see stuff I got on final clearance - even a penny - pop up later in daily deals. I got a kick out of it

it wouldn't have been bad if it was advertised as such when I bought it. If they aren't advertising it like that, then to me its plain fraud. i just received the special deal of the day email today for a bunch of water heaters, air circulation and water filtration products Are all those discontinued also, will their 7 or 9 year warranty be honored? It would be different if the manufacture bellies up , but this one is still in business and wouldn't honor a warranty because they discontinued it. It was sold under a Home Depot brand and even has Home Depot customer service in the literature. I didn't know the actual manufacture until that customer service number transferred me over to them.

First of all….. Condolences to Aileron!
I have had a problem with some things I purchased ONLINE from HD and when they referred me to the manufacturer who tried to get out of honoring the warranty by making things difficult with "BS excuses" I called HD customer service back and POLITELY told the rep (who referred me to their supervisor) that I purchased the item from HD and NOT the manufacturer so make things right.… And they did.
The HD 800# customer service sux unless you have the time and persistence to play the game…….. And sadly it should not have to be that way.
Customer service in the HD store is very good on any items purchased there in person.

BTW! When the apologies start I will tell them "This is simple, no need for apologizing……… Now just do your job make me a happy customer!" (y):)(y)

Customer service at HD stores is pretty dismal overall. The exception is if the store has decent managment which seems to be limited to contractor centric stores.

If they stood behind their products they would be the party to contact the manufacture on your behalf.

If Home Depot was so apologetic they would include an additional gift card to compensate for your time.
