Christmas time is always a dangerous time for me at Home Depot. I get suckered into all the great "deals" they have for gifts.
Today it was the Milwaukee knife and bottle opener. $9.98 and the bag for $5.97.
The bag I have no idea why I bought it but I wanted one since I first saw it. Sigh.

Here's the best part. The bottle opener has a wire stripper feature!!

i was at the one on carpenter road in ypsi-arbor yesterday and saw a dewalt 12" mitre saw on sale for $199 which is like $20 less than i paid for my 10-incher new (grumble). stupendous deal, though. not sure if this is showing up at other stores? but if you are in the market, look out for it.

My home store! Most of the stores have that "special buy" deal on the 12" miter saw. Personally, I'd rather have a 10" saw than a 12", but it is a good price. They have most of their holiday displays out, but I haven't seen anything yet that qualifies as a great deal...

Here are your pics. There was something wonky with your code. "Quote" me and you can see what code I used to get them to show up.

I was walking around HD the other day wondering who thinks up some of these tool combinations. Let's drink beer and play with electricity. :lol_hitti

they used the handle for the 11-in-1 screwdriver, or at least part of the mold for it to make the bottle opener.

Don't know about the beer drinkers and the ladies, I do not own the fancy bottle opener or the black bag, but I use that Milwaukee knife all the time and it is the Kat's meow.:thumbup:

HD appears to shove a bunch of random tools in a pair of cannons aimed at each other. Once fired they pick up any tools that have stuck to other and send them off to China for holiday production.
