it's 599 but toss in a military ID and get another 60 off of it?

Thinking two HF 44's would give me more storage room at the same price. I have to purchase my own father's day gift my soon to be ex probably won't even say happy father's day never mind buy me a card unless it had a giant middle finger in it. And she's the one that wanted the divorce....lol

339 each is the lowest price I am familiar with for the harbor freight boxes. The drawer layout will be better with the HF boxes I think. I bought 2 of the Milwaukee 60" boxes for $800 total awhile back. I am very pleased with them, and if you are talking about the flat black husky boxes, in my opinion they are even better.

Sorry about your wife buddy

hey western mass!

I was messing around at HD the other day and the quality of these boxes is laughable. The HF ones are really a better deal.

I have 2 HD work benches which has almost the same drawer layout as the 60". In the bottom of 1 I NEATLY have my circular saw, my router, an extra router base, 2 sanders, my buffer, my jig saw, a cordless drill, corded drill, heat gun, etc etc. In the other I have lots of cans of spray paint/spray glue/break cleaner/Misc spray cans standing up, a big box of random stuff etc. I have the rest of the drawers stacked/filled up and have no issues with the benches, their performance or otherwise. You can't do that no matter how many of the HF 44s you own, the one from HD is a workbench not a tool box so you can put bigger items in it. Plus they are black and not red.

With that being said, it all depends on what you are going to put in it. And this is in the wrong section of the forum :)

I thought the Husky 60" workbench was very comparable to the HF products in terms of quality. The only complaint I have with the 56" (which I own) and the nearly matching 60" workbench is the fact that the top drawer where you would keep sockets needs another .5-.75" of depth, and probably dual slides.
