What have they been smoking? 100A has been minimum for a long time, BTW is quite adequate for most homes still.

Yeah, my 29 year old house has 150A service... and even has a gas furnace and gas water heater.

Thirty years ago was 1984, when the minimum service entry was at least 100 amps. I'm guessing that this article was plagiarized from something WRITTEN 30 years ago.

Hahaha.....thx for the laugh....the last time I saw a 60a service was on a house from the 40s with knob and tube...
