Great to see international garage build and looking forward to seeing more of the Dubs!

Back in high school friend had '69 VW fastback (think it had 1300 cc engine with some power improvements) and we had lots of fun with stoplight to stoplight drags surprising quite a few! One day, went against sleeper SuperBeetle with 1600cc engine and got dusted!

Keep the pics a coming.

I have a 2919cc engine with a BIG turbo for the Ghia. :3gears:
The bus will have a 2500++cc Weber IDA engine when it's done :rocker:.

But all of this is far away, need to do the garage first.

The engine case is a "waterboxer" from a late VW transporter, it's made aircoold. The case is bigger and swalows a 90mm crank and 101,6mm cylinders is "no" problem with that case.

Thanks, once the garage is up I need to see build picks of that engine and Ghia :rocker:

Beautiful looking country!

Glad to see the snow hasn't stopped build of the VW home.

P.S. - Is the English translation of 'Uppsala' mean 'Frozen Nose Hairs'? lol

I came to this thread to check out the "wind paper". . .wow! Very cool.

So, what do you finish over the wind paper with? At this point your garage is vulnerable to anyone with a pair of scissors. . .

YEAH, another aircooled VW person on here! My 2nd garage is the one for one of my VW projects, it is 16 x 22. right now it looks like this:

:spit:

16x22 and the car is in sideways. :bounce:

As a fellow VW nut I always figure garage size by how many I could fit.

standard 2 car would = 4 VW's :lol_hitti
