Hey guys, just found your site and love it. My name's Jordan, I'm 21 born-and-raised in Oklahoma and in college, currently with no garage at all.
By day I am a challenge course instructor, and hobby-wise, I've always loved working with my hands in leatherworking and woodworking, so tools, garages, workshops and such are a big interest of mine, as are history, graphic design and craftsmanship.
Carwise, until this year I didn't know much about cars except for how to fill up a gas tank, check the oil, drive to the quick lube, and ask a mechanic when funny lights would come on the dash.
But, I bought a 1980 Jeep CJ5 in March and am proud to say I have done all the mechanical work needed on it so far, (which has been quite a bit!), all by reading repair manuals and asking questions on forums. It feels good to be self-reliant, and home mechanic work has become my new favorite hobby!
I've been looking at the past entries on your blog, and am looking forward to what is yet to come.
