I brew on the patio.

There is too much fire, water and mess (from a boil over) to consider brewing inside.

My fermenter is in the garage (currently holding 10 gallons of IPA)

I brew on my driveway with the garage door open. The last beer: Chocolate Milk Stout, next Russian Imperial Stout. If I ever had a brewery I would name it the Stouthouse.

I have a buddy or two that homebrews in their garage. I'll see if I can snap a belt buckle spy cam pic.

To cwolfley, on a side note, we have the same last name! Don't meet too many of them!

No brew room here but I wish I had the space. I don't brew beer but do mead and cider. I use the kitchen and ferment, age and store in one of the lower cabinets in there. The coolest place in the house I can find without being specifically refrigerated.

cmon guys this is it! there has to be more out there, how about bar setups? anything?

Try the brew forums. Those guys are more dedicated to brews than the guys on the forum dedicated to garages :lol_hitti

I always thought it would be cool to have a bar named after me.
Is Stout your last name or do you just like the beer?

I brew the normal 5 gallon batches anywhere but in the house. An hour of boiling hops can put lot of water and stink into the house that the womenfolk don't like.

Partial mash or extract with minimal equipment. I still bottle so most of my mess is from cleaning and sanitizing.

Only amateurs boil over! Easy for me to say since I boil my brew in a 7.5 gallon turkey fryer kettle which leaves plenty of room and time to react to foam.

Right now I have 5 gallons of Arrogant ******* ale two weeks in the bottle, another week before I test one.

Finishing drinking the last 5 gallon batch which was a hard cider using 100% honeycrisp cider from local orchards and 2 lbs of dark brown sugar. Cider is much easier to make and really is a nice brew.

I used to brew in my garage but got tired of moving everything to the basement to ferment. I am in the process of finishing the move to the basement for the entire process. I brew 10-12g batches all electric and have a 6'x6'x3' temperature controlled area that I ferment in and try to have at least 6 beers on tap.

This is the control panel that I built to run it all.

This is the area I ferment in. It has since been changed to run off a modified AC and has 3 separate temperature controllers.

And about 500# of grain to make the beer.
