For a while now I have noticed their socket/wrench selection has been sucking or lack there of. Well I was in there today and they totally reorganized their socket and wrench section. They now have a bigger individual socket selection in all 3 sizes. They also have individual wrenches! Most everything was made in China except their ratchets and ratcheting wrenches (Taiwan). Just thought it was interesting to see they have upped their selection. Sorry if someone else posted this earlier.

I could be wrong, but I think their ratches and torque wrenches are made by Gearwrench. They look identical.

They also have more types of ratchets as well. Like flex heads and roto heads. It is not like this at all stores. Some are still the old way. Only one store near me is like this

Funny you guys mention this. Husky and Stanley are the same company, in fact I was in Wal-Mart and I found a Husky stamped ratchet in a Stanley package.

I have noticed this at HD with a Stanley ratchet in a Husky set. This "should" make exchanging sockets, if they would to break, a lot easier?

I wonder if Wal-Mart will follow suit?

Their 1/4" torque looks exactly like my Proto ones, granted both are made by Stanley. Would be kind of curious to see how it(Husky) would compare.

You think so? Interesting... Not even close. Pretty much to me Husky n Stanley are alike.

I should have clarified that I was only referring to the Torque Wrenches. I just bought he 3/8 and 1/2 Gearwrench Torques and noticed yesterday that the Husky's looked very similar.

I bought my Husky 3/8" socket set from Canadian Tire back in the 70's. back then they came with a lifetime warranty. I never had to use it (the warranty), I still have them all today & they are my "go to" set.
I'm sure they are different from what's out there at HD nowadays. I don't know what the COO is but there fantastic!
