Homelite mighty lite 26bv running problem

I have a homelite mighty lite 26bv leafblower that hasn't ran for a couple of years. I haven't ran it because the fuel line had rotted. I replaced the fuel line and tried to run it. When it starts after a couple pulls the engine revs up to max rpm on full choke then starts to die slowly until it's just barely running. And if I try to put it to half choke or run, it revs up to max then dies completely. It will only start on full choke. Any help?
Thanks

Your carburetor has **** in it. The easiest thing is just to replace the carb, they are not expensive. Also make sure that your fuel filter in the tank is clean.
If you give me the model number that is on the blower, I will let you know what the carb should cost you. Or, just plug it into ereplacementparts.com or gardnerinc.com.

If you don't want this to happen again, don't use fuel with ethanol in it and use a fuel stabilizer like Stabil in all of your small engine fuel cans.
