Homemade Pit Wagon

Here are some pictures of the homemade Snap On pit Wagon. I worked together with another guy, it came out pretty good. It is a Snap On KRA4107, with golf cart tires.

The dimensions of this box are 70 inches wide, 20 inches deep, 46 inches tall. The handle is a piece of aluminum, and the axle is stationary with bearing hubs. The handle is connected to mini tie rods that make the tires turn. The box was designed this way, being only 20 inches deep, it would fit very nicely into race car trailer or toy hauler. It obviously doesn't turn as sharp as a box with casters, but it rolls like a dream. The last part is to skirt around the wheels and lower portion of the box. I was going to set the box deeper in between the wheels, but the height was modeled after my Snap On KRL1001 and is perfect height for working on something, or leaning with a beer.

That did turn out quite nice. Well planned and executed!!

Don't be surprised if folks want you to make one for them. Could be a good side gig fabbing the frames for folks.
