homemade track saw adaptor plate

anyone ever build a wooden adaptor plate for their circular saw that would fit in a homemade
track for cutting plywood..??I would like the plate to have a female track and the long track to have a male rail.. any links??

No. I just built a basic guide with a piece of jointed hardwood mounted onto some masonite. The edge of the masonite was lined up with my cut line.

But if you Google [DIY track saw] and/or [circular saw sled] without the brackets you'll get a lot of ideas.

overall I would just buy the Makita track saw but wait until its on sale at 300$.
