Homemade?? Vise on craigslist

Never seen a vise that looks like this. It looks like the jaws are made of leaf springs to me but not sure if this homemade or not. Looks neat ether way.

interesting. definitely looks homemade. maybe an old wood vise's screw with maybe an old trailer hitch. pretty creative and might work too.

it is probably a one of a kind and would look pretty nice on your bench even if you don't use it much.

Could be homemade. If so, that seems quite nicely done. I'd definitely find a space for something like that.
