they look like williams wrenches, since williams is owned by snap on, they technically are. from watching the "how's it made" video's i assume they are all made in the same plant.

I see now that they are actually Bahco wrenches and a further search found a picture on Amazon. Interesting how much they look like my John Deere (usa) combination wrenches.

Wow, Homier is trying to sell American made wrenches. I am surprised. I doubt that their customers will be interested in a 13 pc. wrench set for $100, but maybe they think that this will add validity to their other products.

They look just like my Harley Davidson wrenches which are made by Bahco.

I have some stuff from Homier. It is just a short drive from where I live. They used to have a retail store but closed that about a year ago and sell directly from the warehouse now. I haven't been there since it was all moved though. When I still had a job I went through Huntington every day so I could stop in there if I needed anything. It was always along the lines of Harbor freight I thought. Maybe a little better. I got my hose reel from there. I am pretty happy with that.

Wow,I did not know that Chuck Homier was still around.

They would go from state to state with a tractor trailer full of tools. Then rent ballrooms at hotels,Set up tables and sell tools. They would advertise on the radio and post flyer's everywhere.

Lots of it was HF type of stuff,But they also had name branded stuff and also reconditioned tools.

I bought a reconditioned Dewalt circular saw from one of those ballroom sales and it was in new condition. Hard case and all.

Still have it and going strong.

Homier came thru here about 6 years ago. They rented the local fairgrounds exhibit hall. I'd say most of their stuff is actually a step down from Harbor Freight. Most of what I got was really, really poor quality. I did get their folding engine hoist which seems identical to Harbor Freight, and at the time it was only $130

I haven't seen them since, but Cummins/Ram Tools/Tools Now still comes thru w a couple OTR trucks about twice a year. Only way for me to get my "Harbor Freight" fix locally.

And yeah, they all push the Bahco wrenches, proudly touting them as Snap-On (which is technically true). Cummins does it too.

That was about the last time I bought anything from them too. They did the same thing by me, rented a hall at a local fairground. Funny, bought one of their 12volt compressors from them back then and used it for the first time last week. Worked pretty good. The price on it was $8.99. Also bought a two-wheeler to move my boat trailer around. That works OK too. I think I paid $20 for it. Northern Tool at the same time wanted close to $100 for the same thing :wtf: I still get e-mails but haven't bought anything from them in years.
