I dont know if this is the right section,But I guess it can be moved if need be.

I got one of these mowers and its been giving me one hell of an issue with the carb. I have had it apart probably 10 different times. I am looking for a new replacement carb.

Model #HRZ216TDA
Serial#MAFA-1000742

If anyone had any info as to where I can find one that would be great.

Umm, any Honda dealer can get it. You can also try Jacks Small Engines online. I've done business with them and they're good folks.

p.s. and by Honda dealer I don't mean automobiles, I mean Honda powersports/power equipment.

I don't know where you can get a carb, but you may be able to fix your carb.
I have found that fuel deposits on honda machines cause all kinds of problems. Carefully disassemble the carb and remove the jets if possible. Use a magnifying glass and examine the inside of the jets and passages for miniscule variations in the color of the metal, these are fuel deposits. Use a good carb cleaner or laquer thinner to remove the deposits. You might have to use a small brass brush. Try a hobby shop for small brushes or make one yourself by twisting some ss wire together with brass or copper wire sections. Don't use plastic or fiber brushes with the chemicals as they will be destroyed. Use a small wire to run through all the passages as well. The point is to remove all or as much of the deposit as possible. Because of our clean air regulations, clearences and dimensions of carb parts have been reduced. Couple that with the changes in fuels and we have a situation that requires a higher degree of maintenance. To prevent this trouble in the future, run your machine completly out of fuel and leave the fuel system dry until the next use.

Whats the number on top of the carb? It should be something like BB XXXX. If youre looking at the carb on the machine, it will be on the rear left mounting area, on the top. Get me that number, and I can get you the carb for a deal, + shipping.

Correction, The code should read ex. 65 E B K J . I only need the first two letters (65EB)

And just FYI, The second letter B will be inside of a square

All is not harmonious with the Harmony. That is a weird name for a lawnmower, probably a translation error. Rename it to a Honda Discord it better describes your mower.

Honda makes a damn fine lawnmower. I work on them most of my day, and though some parts are rediculously expensive, they hold up well. The HRX series has a Nexite (composite) deck and they are damn near indestructable

The HRX is one hell of a mower. I also have had one of them in the past.

Actually that mower has run for 10 years without an issue till recently. The ****** Cal. gas that we have here is terrable on machines. Just goes bad real quick.
