First outing of the season and my 13 year old Honda HRM215 push mower has decided to quit being self propelled.

From what I have found it is something they tend to do in time and after 13 years of trouble free service stuff happens!

What I am looking for is a decent online source for Honda Mower parts.

TIA

Honda parts are very expensive. If you find out what you need I may be able to help you with some used parts. I have 5 or 6 parts mowers out back.

Wow looking at tdkkart link I need to get some more numbers off my mower!

It is the 3 speed transmission on mine but when I guessed on what I had it brought up the hydrostatic transmission.

I took my dad's 14 year old Honda harmony mower because the self propel was banging and grinding. I priced out the trans. locally, $125, and decided to remove it. After I pulled it all apart, I checked the trans. and found nothing wrong. upon reassembly, I found that the cable at the trans. was out of adjustment. It may have been the 1-2 cable, but anyway, its worked for 2 years now. May be worth looking at.

Mine did this last year. Trans (3 speed) was toast. Parts around $125, they have a new vendor for the transmissions now. To my knowledge, there are no aftermarket transmissions available. I got mine from the local Honda dealer because there was no substantial discount I could find on line.

My dads had the same issue, lol.

Apparently this is a common issue.
