Recently I moved to a new place and thought it would be appropriate to start a new thread...

The new place came with a nice 3 car garage that's getting filled up rather fast and effort is being put in getting it organized.

It all starts with building a workbench. Still work in progress.

I'm guessing as most of GJ members I have the same problem - I have several vises to choose from and can't really decide which one will finally go there

The stain actually turned out pretty nice. Next step is to put polyurethane on the butcher block

I put up the bike helmet holders and garden tool storage rack. It's turning out nice

Nice that you are getting settled in, Honza. 🍻

Deciding what vise to mount is a critical factor in the overall appeal of your garage. :)

(I still have the Reed 1C you gave me in a trade we did years ago)

The ryobi drill cabinet will definitely help with organization too...

For pure style on top of its well made functionality, my vote would be the Craftsman 5197 is it?
For pure massive overkill I would go with the Reed 206

The craftsman is 05196.
I'm honestly hoping someday I'll find a Craftsman heritage badge Reed. For now I'm thinking the 204 1/2R aftercleaningit up, but I really haven't made up my mind yet

The poly on the workbench is turning out pretty good. I think I still need to do at least one layer

I've been looking for a reasonably priced heritage Craftsman badged wooden chest for several years now. No luck yet. However a GJ member purchased this at a (local to him) auction and offered to ship me this Union chest. It's seen some use, but is overall in decent shape. No key.
