hood strut failure?

They knew the hood would be open most of the time.

Yeah, I was thinking the GMT800's do and I guess the 900's too? I work on an '08 2500 but can't remember.

Kinda makes me appreciate the old-school prop rod on my '88 Ranger too

I'm gonna order a Lisle prop rod after reading this whole thread, at least for my '08 F350.
