Hooking indoor boiler to house

Good morning all,

I’m finally hooking my wood boiler that’s in my garage to my house. I’m digging a ditch and spray foaming my pex within the ditch. Question is, my garage is built on a monolithic slab so undermining and drilling through the haunch would be a nightmare. I’m thinking about drilling through the block wall and running a sleeve for pex to travel through. Hard part is protecting the spray foam above grade before it goes through block wall. I’ve been thinking about an aluminum box around it but looking for other opinions.

Also how deep are you folks burying your pex? I’m in upstate NY. The local boiler company is only burying the flexable insulated pex a couple feet deep. Mine will be much more insulated than that pex so I’m thinking I’m good at that depth

You would want to use o2 barrier pex and just foam will not insulate tubing very long only last till water would compromise it. PoorUB suggested the correct piping with the plastic tubing for water protection. Piping would be better off being under the frost line 50-55° ground temp vrs freezing.

I'd be looking at a solid 3'-4' deep even with the best insisted tube.
Ask the local guys what's their heat loss for is 30'-40' at just a couple of feet down?

Length is too far for premade stuff. If I were to use that it would have been the foam filled which is around $16/foot. Putting me around 4k. I’ll have under 2k into this as is now. I thought I put in there closed cell foam. Yes I’m aware open would absorb the water and woukd of been a waste of time and money
