Waiting to see your updates, nice cars... The Q7 wheels make a big difference and now that you wont be running black wheels in the front and chrome in the back as dubber said, they should look even better! :)

I've only had the new brakes on a week and can already tell a huge difference. Washed the Q7 last night, after an out of town trip with it, and hardly any brake dust to clean off.

Had a little fun this weekend.

Did a complete brake upgrade on the Q7 (rotors, pads, sensors).

Then I got the detailing bug and washed/clay bar/wax/seal both the Q7 and S4.

I am about to do a brake job on my Q5 (rotors, pads and sensors).

**Edit - I should have read the entire thread first before asking questions**

I was planning on using Akebono Ultra Premium Ceramic Pad ($83.89 Front) and Centric High Carbon Rotors ($61.79 Per Front). This is online at Rockauto.com, shipping not included.

Did you need the VCDS to disable the rear parking brakes?

No, no VCDS needed. But I was planning on needing it. It was a pretty straight forward job, just a little hard to get to rear caliper bolts off.

Wish you were closer, I can't seem to find anyone with a VAG-com here in KC, I'd like to take a good hard look at my car for codes and such.

I drove through your area when I got the S4. My wife and I flew out to Denver and drove the car home (Louisville, KY area).
That was a long drive.
Have you checked the Audi forums?

Very nice touch with the retro posters. I actually even like the subtle touch of the red door handles on the grey cabinets. My pallet for sure.

Man that little single bulb in the ceiling looks lonely. It needs some friends haha.

Thanks. The red handles were my wifes idea.

Yes, 4 100 Watt bulbs does not put much light out. As soon as it cools down a little (have to get in the attic to wire them up), I will be putting the 4ft fluorescents up.

It makes a huge difference when you install the fluorescent lights, i went with two 8 footers as opposed to 2 single bulbs in my 2 car.

Did you recently sell your s4? I ask because the guy I bought my B6 A4 USP from bought a S4 just like yours in IN and drove it back to GA.

No, I didn't ask. I thought for sure it was yours though since the odds of there being two are pretty slim.

Anything to update? RaceDeck Free Flow floor, perhaps?

Unfortunately, no updates to the garage. Lately, all of my time has been spent on the house/pool area. I've had a few projects going on in the garage, but they aren't really garage related.
Hopefully it will pick back up after the first of the year.

Thanks for the update. I've been scouring through the Audi garages and realized we hadn't heard much from you lately. At least you are putting the garage to good use for other projects. I'm in the midst of a what was supposed to be a mild makeover, but it just keeps growing and growing.

I don't post much, but I've been keeping my eye on your garage as well. I'm waiting on pictures of the new S Q5.

Rest assured, there will be pics when it arrives. (4-6 weeks) In the meantime, I have to make sure the garage is ready for its newest tenant. Good luck with all your projects.
