Howdy! My new wife and I just bought our first house in July and it came with a 28 x 45 pole building. Lucky me! It had a gravel floor but we got concrete poured in September. It has minimal lights and has receptacles down one wall only, so I'll be upgrading both soon. I'm stuck on what lights to use, but I'll be reading all the posts and hope to get as much light for the $$ with help from you guys. It does have 100 amp service and it's on it's own meter, so I'm happy about that. I've run wires thru 1" EMT for welder recepts and a 60 gallon air compressor I'm locating out behind the shop. I hope to use spray foam insulation (walls and roof/ceiling) to stop the drafts and minimize the temperature changes. We painted the roof (way overdue!) last Sunday with Blackjack elastomeric roof coat, seems to be pretty good stuff and the white color is supposed to reflect heat to keep it cooler in the summer.
