Hope some one has some ideas.. I am using duravent venting to vent a reznor heater.. it will be class 3 stainless steel.. I need to use a wall thimble to go thru the wall I will provide a link to a picture...my problem is mounting the thimble to the outside and the inside both have corigated steel installed.. and due to the ribs of the wall the square part of the thimble will not be flush due to the raised ribs...anyou ideas.... here is a link to the thimble

You will need a wooden block to stand outside the corrugated. Figure the needed dimension for the block and cut the metal so the block will fit in. Screw the block to the plywood wall and run you pipe thru that. Flash it at the top. I cut a rabbit in the L, R and bottom and sealed it up. Figure out how you want the block to sit so it is symetrical for the cut on the metal and will seal best on the sides.

I'm a bit confused on your recommendation... the Venting will be installed thru a pole barn wall.. thus it is outside metal.... insulation... vapor barrier.. then inside metal... it does not have plywood exterior structure

I'm getting ready to do the exact same thing....
Just waiting for my horizontal vent kit I ordered to arrive.
I'm going to follow your post for ideas since I'm doing a similar install.

Yeah, when I re-read it I was confused too. Essentially you have to look at your wall thimble, if you are using one and find a way to flash it into the exterior wall. I used the wooden block on mine for my heater vent and water pipe penetrations. If you try to do this, watch your vent clearance to combustibles.

I ended up customizing the wall thimble that was included with the Z-vent kit. Thin stainless steel was very easy to bend and form to the corrugated siding.
Worked out very well.

I just cut my thimble to fit in the flat. It was only about 1/2" of each side

I used the reznor horizontal kit (CC14 if I recall correctly) and also used type 3 stainless steel piping for my UDAS separated combustion unit. No thimble was required. The concentric piping through the wall has the inlet on the outside and outlet on the inside, so there is no need for a thimble. Note: this will only work for a separated combustion unit.
